Why can we see Sunspots with the Naked Eye, but not a Coronal Hole?

Hi all,

just a quick question thats bugging me. Often there are Sunspots that grow large enough to be seen without the need of a telescope.

At the moment on the Sun we have a huge Coronal Hole

and we also have a nice Sunspot

So why is it we can see the big Sunspot without the need for a Scope, but we can't see the massive coronal hole?

Coronal holes were detected by x-ray telescopes, not by the visual spectrum. The pictures we see of them are just visual representations of that x-ray data.
