LAF on alert after IDF fires across border

So at least there's no casualties so far... and the shooting has stopped. Another Israeli provocation.

Live Coverage Naharnet

9:40pm OTV: The army went on alert in al-Zhayra after Israeli troops fired provocative machinegun rounds over its position.
9:12pm Israeli troops fired several machinegun rounds into the Lebanese territory targeting the Tallet al-Hafayer area.

And what they did this afternoon...

1:13pm Israeli warplanes carried out mock raids over Nabatiyeh, Iqlim al-Tuffah, Marjayoun, Khiam and Arqoub.

Mock raids is so peaceful.... Yeah ISRAEL WANTS PEACE... SURE.

Lebanon Now and Naharnet are pretty reliable. They never make stuff up.

Debka on the other hand is utter made-up crap.

I read them every day.

Don't wait for american MSM because you'll wait forever.

Just saying.

I don't really trust the American Media either.. for them it is all about ratings and money. I find it is better to try to find the folks on the ground. Hard, but better.

Yeah but it's rare to find people on the ground. And even then... CNN had reporters on the ground in Iraq and they didn't report the truth...

At least the Lebanese medias are not reporting the monstrous lie that the US recession ended last year !

Did some research on the paper.. privately funded and non-sectarian. They would seem to be at least moderately more trustworthy.

What is very telling is that Debka doesn't have this reported yet... I don't trust them as a news source at all, but wouldn't be surprised if they took this and spun it in some way.

Next Israel-Hezbollah war will be worse, says U.S. analyst

Research published by Washington Institute for Near East Policy says future Israel-Hezbollah war would likely draw in Iran and cover much of Lebanon, Israel and probably Syria.

Well that's to be expected. And remember Mitchell telling Lebanon that anymore attacks over the border by Lebanese soldiers means all out war. Israel provoking them by firing over there heads is really going to help isn't it, and continuing the building of settlements in a few days time is also proving that peace isn't on their agenda.
