Yeah thats not normal in the least man, Ive seen thing like that here in Missouri this past week. Its really strange. Even reported some of them to MUFON.

Jupiter would have been in the south western sky when you saw this:
And as I said earlier, Jupiter is super bright right now.
Edit to add that the time stamp is my timezone, but Jupiter is visible in that location till sunrise.
