Maybe we are looking at the wrong Lion

So I've been thinking about the Emerald Tablets of Thoth which have a certain resonance for me even though they are ghost written and their relationship to a any real entity named Thoth is dubious anyway the world is chock full of lion Iconography

ancient Mesopotamian cultures and made heavy use of Lion Sphinx Motifs on there public buildings
so the did the Mycenaeans
here is a Palace in Sri Lanka Sigiriya

this culture goes back into dim prehistory and is in the geographical proximity to the Vedic culture which has a rich history of flying technology and ET contact I think it is as likely a place to look for spacecraft as any
