I completely agree with the OP, a united planet under one unified power is most deffinatly the way forward, this would put an end to all wars and
create, for the first time since the dawn of man global peace as there is no longer any direct compatition between nations. And personaly i feel
history has demonstrated clearly that we are becoming closer together as a planet, it is perfectly natural evolution.
The reason however i believe there is much fear of such an ideal is that, yes it will give an incredible amount of power to a very few, and unless
they are enlightend philosopher kings[very doubtful] there could be a lot of problems. But, what people fail to understand is, PEOPLE DO INFACT NEED
TO BE CONTROLLED, a rational self aware person may find that a tad extreme, certainly most people on here will not understand that as they will tell
themselves "i dont need controlled" which is probably true, however the people posting here[well some of them] are not a true reflection of the
masses, who are undoubtedly prone to the odd bit of anarchy at the best of times. And people who say, no man, we dont need ANY FORM OF CONTROL, yip
well thats great, however if it werent for the control over your lives that already exist some crazy 7 foot alpha male will just come to your house,
rape your family and steal your #. Good luck in that world mateys. THERE MUST BE AT ALL TIMES SOCIAL CONTROL, why the hell dont people understand
that.
There is also another major fear, and it is not governments, though there complicity in this is astounding, with the eventuality there will no longer
be any borders, thus no competition between states, it does not mean to say corporations will not be competing against one another. Corporations now
have the resources and finances to compete against major nations, it would not take much for a company say, Exxon Mobil to militarise themselves with
lucrative contracts to mercenary firms such as XE and begin at first covert actions against competing corporations.
If the world were to push for a untited one world government, corporations would need to be reignd in immediatly in order to satisfactory co exist in
the socialist Utopia a one world order could provide. However ever since the creation of the British East India Company i have never seen evidence of
the corporate entity being brought to heel over anything, being that the case one must assume the agendas in place are not entirely for our benefit,
and any idea of a one world order should be treated with mistrust and if need be fought at every stage, as history has also demonstrated corporations
are not to be trusted in anyway shape or form as our lives are secondary to there proffits.
