as an aside i felt this had to be iterated, or reiterated if someone mentioned it and i didn't see, as people apparently continue to believe and agree with the OP that what she was describing in the OP was misogyny.

It is hatred of women at its basest. The men I worked with were called by their given names. Only the women got called sunshine and chiefie and other weird names. By the manager. He quit after I complained, but I lost all respect for him as a manager for trying to demean us women like that. Fits the definition in my book.

Yes the female haters are ruining the female male relationship, but it was not all that great to begin with... and I think there are more females who hold a grudge or two or hundred against men, then the other way around. Also there seems to be some sort of memetic virus spreading around in implementation to turn males against females, thereby getting rid of the sexes, in the long run... and some forms of feminism is one of its outlets. Don't take things that people say online to seriously, even if you are a feminist. The only thing that can bring an end to relations with females are men....and the only thing that can bring an end to relations with males are females. All choices will be.

The problem with feminism, women take advantage of it way to much nowadays. When the women went through their civil rights movement, they were serious about their cause. They wanted to fight along side men, they wanted to work in factory's, they wanted to get hairy and sweaty just like men. Today, feminism goes as far as 'I get 50% of EVERYTHING', and while we're together, you have to buy me shoes, food, and makeup. Also, 'sex is only allowed once a month because I am a woman'. That is feminism in 2010.

It's funny because even though they usually are entitled to 50%, they get a little more then that

Imagine if you will, having two bosses at work. What do you think would happen? The answer is conflict.

This is a very good point, the same as a captain of a ship, if you have two captains on the same ship that are 100% equal in making the final say on what happens, you spend an enormous amount of time in conflict either on the surface or under it, out of sight. The passengers look on observing the conflict and aren't impressed.

I am going to get flamed for this but the proper and effective model is the husband is the captain and the wife is the co-captain, he should be discussing everything with her getting her input and advise but then after that HE makes the final call. Most likely a good husband will take into consideration his wife's opinion and decide accordingly. Since the female perspective has a lot of value it should always be taken into account.

Sometimes I observe couples trying to decide to buy something, and it becomes very clear who calls the shots in the relationship and it's so pathetic to see a whipped male who is the Beta in the relationship. I always think I could never ever be happy in a relationship like that.

Does woman hating exist, yes, but I see much more man hating.
As a woman I am of the belief that feminism is the problem. Well the government breakdown of the family unit as well, but then a lot of that goes back to feminism. Feminism could have gone right, but it went horribly wrong. Feminists are man haters for the most part, while there are more chauvinistic men than woman haters, and many of the woman haters, well, I don't blame them. I cant stand how a lot of women are now days. Especially younger generations, 30 and younger. Why is it ok for women to smack a guys behind and baby cakes in the workplace with out fear of getting fired but its not ok for a man to do it? Shouldn't it go both ways? It does happen and I have seen it. There are to many double standards. I also believe emasculation of men is responsible for the rise in domestic violence against women.
I also want to make my self clear. There are two kinds of feminism. The kind that actually wants equality with men, the kind even I would like to see more of in certain Islamic countries and in other cultures. Then There is what we see a lot of currently in western society, that seeks to suppress men and paint them as demons that need to be castrated. The later is the feminism I refer to.
