MI6 spy may have died in sex game gone wrong

news.ninemsn.com.au

Police investigating the bizarre death of British spy Gareth Williams believe he may have died during a sex game gone wrong.

In a police re-enactment, a female officer climbed into the bag where Williams' naked body was found, the Mail on Sunday newspaper reports.

The officer managed to zip up the bag and padlock it from inside, leading to speculation Williams had done the same thing and suffocated when he could not unlock himself.

Fuelling the theory is the fact police found a key to the padlock inside the bag alongside Williams’ body.

Williams, 31, worked for the secret intell

The whole thing seems very suss. Police are not commenting, or rather been told not to comment perhaps. No major clues and a key placed in the bag...That key could have been placed after the death. No indication if they intend to conduct an autoposy. Also if it was a sex game, there is no evidence of his sex partner or witnesses...just him in a bag in a bathtub, no signs of struggle. This guy could have been ''silenced rather then sexed''...

When you have numerous alphabet's involved the most common way to discredit someone is using the sex angle, its always a sure way to blur truth. Its chapter 3 within the manual.

This individual had nothing of the sort to do with what is purposely being leaked across the media.

Thats right, or the suicide angle we hear so much about when some one mysteriously dies. The truth may never come out

I think that angle is plausible. People do get into some weird stuff. I remember a UK MP who was found dead in bizarre circumstances when I was a kid. He had a garbage bag over his head and an orange in his mouth that had been injected with poppers (solvent). As if that wasn't enough of a fetish, he was dressed in women's underwear too. Masturbation must have been more elaborate than a climbing trip to the Himalayas and as theatrical as a gay bar. All that was missing was a talking glove puppet.

I favoured the idea of a technically excellent hit, but wondered about why such a perfect hit went to the trouble of the bag in the bath? This Michael Hutchence-style scenario might provide the answers. Although, I thought there were no cause of death signs? Suffocation would leave very clear signs...bust capillaries etc. Time'll tell, I suppose...

Logically this makes no sense why would he have a key inside the bag if it was locked from the outside how would his presumed sex partner release him? (maybe duplicate key? i don't know) i looks to me like they threw the key in the bag to torment him even further knowing very well he was not going to be able to get out until he was put into another bag

At least it wasn't a suicide when the victim shoots himself in the back 3 times....

I have worked with many fetish clubs and on the scale of weird things that people get off on, locking yourself inside sports bag barely registers.

Suffice to say that I can't really go into much detail on a public web site but if people in the Fetish scene heard of one of their own dying in this way they would barely raise an eyebrow
Very plausible in my opinion.

Never believe the government when they tell you how their spy died. I think we can all agree that spy agencies don't operate very differently from the mafia. They perform hits, work under a very tight veil of secrecy, lie constantly, lure people in traps, and employ a variety of shady and questionable operations. Would you trust the mafia if they took the place of MI6 in this news report?

(It's always the girl) who cuffs you to the bed, blindfolds you then sneaks out. The assassins work is easy and undetectable.

What I don't understand is, why the press release? Alive or dead spy's are not even supposed to exist.

Killing somebody in this manner is a method of not just killing the person, but of also killing that persons memory and credibility.

It implies that it was his reputability, moreso than the human being, that required assassination.

If they wanted to silence him I think there are much more efficient ways to stage a suicide. If it was assassins they where sloppy. Why not just fake a gunshot to the head or a more normal suffocation technique? Now there will be endless speculation and media reports, very sloppy indeed.

the angle depends on who saw what..if a maid maybe discovered his body maybe they had to play this angle compared to him being found some where else who knows like i said, we will never know.

Wow,..
It is all fitting together,.

I see a trend here

Isn't this "spy", someone who you trust with your National Security secrets supposed to be a well balanced individual? Are they really to have us believe a SPY would be this wreckless with his own life?

I don't believe this story/explanation for a second.

What kind of bag is this? I never seen a bag that you could padlock? I mean one you could get inside of?

That is interesting and strange at the same time. Why do the police propose that this was some sort of sex game? Why would a spy engage in such a hazardous way of pleasure. Is there no common sense anymore? I suppose they have a suspect that they have ruled out as a suspect. Perhaps a kinky female(or male) escort admitted playing this game with Mr. Williams? No. This is just a theory that possibly came from a dis info agent. A bone to throw some detectives who are a bit out of their league.

My theory is that the police have no leads no suspects what so ever. All they have is a decomposed body in a bag with no fingerprints anywhere on hand. This sounds like a hit to me, plan and simple. And unfortuately for the family and friends of this person, when done precise and accurately no one can tell anything about the manner of death. He could have suffocated in the bag or been suffocated outside of the bag. Who knows.

I say if they have no suspect then it would be silly to damage the mans name in such a manner. Unless this act was carried out by MI6 themselves. Then of course they would not care if this man's name was slandered in any way.

Sad way to go at any rate. I hope he truly lived the spy life to his fullest before he met his end.
R.I.P. Mr. Williams.

Never seen a bag like that? Sounds like a Harry Houdini bag. Something you try to escape from. But with the lock on the outside that is difficult. I doubt sex had anything to do with it. Someone was sending a message.

What about the early stories of being locked in a bag where they said he had chemicals poured in the bag with him to speed up decomposition of the body. That would be one crazy sex game unless there some necrophiliacs.
