Too many hot ladies on ATS (who would have ever thought that a BAD thing?)

Not really bad, but it's funny, because the other day, my wife is asking, "Who are all of these women you've been adding as Facebook friends?"

Being a happily married man, I hadn't really looked all that much, so did a quick scan of my friends list, and I see her point! Who would have thought there were so many gals interested in these topics? Personally, I think it just shows that everyone (no matter what sex, race, religion, etc.) harbors the same concerns. What a cool melting pot we have here!

But why wouldnt girls be interested in these subjects?

What I mean is, I'd expect a certain percentage, but my ATS facebook friends are way different than that expected percentage....

It's a bit odd.

If i try and broach ATS style subjects with my friends, it is always the girls that are more interested. The men give the whole matter a wide berth. Yet it seems to be the other way around regarding the people who actually post on this site.

There are not only hot women... (how can I argue with that?) ... but there are tons of hot men, too!

And "too many" hot women? Is that possible, gentlemen? Are you sure that's what you meant to say? Too many?

Personally one of elements I enjoy most about ATS is interacting with the ladies without knowing what they look like ... in my head they're all pillow fighting at a slumber party at Adrianna Lima's (Benevolent Heretic's) crib.

On a serious note, what could be more substantive that communicating with the opposite sex in the absence of the superficial?

I seriously thought ATS was mostly a guy's forum. I know of only a couple women posters here. To me, conspiracy topics would be more like an interest to guys than women. That just my opinion.

You're right, "Too many hot women" is like the term "Military intelligence", its a contradiction in terms.

Are you sure you aren't judging their appearances by how their avatars look?

I'd be willing to bet some of those hot chicks are really big mommas in real life. That is assuming they're even chicks and not guys who like to have a pic of a hot chick for their avatar. I've been fooled myself by that one.

ATS needs a gender button so you can lift up a poster's avatar to find out what sex they are.

There is the classic face book photo pose which is, hold the camera at arms length a little to your right and up at around 45 degrees, it really changes your face.

I don't mix facebook and ats so i have no clue what anyone looks like.
I like thinking I am talking or typing to their brain.

I feel if I knew how sexy some of these women are,my posts would be fertalized a bit more with thoughts of sexy legs and flirtations etc. and the motivation to post might be different.

I feel not knowing keeps my posts honest and even handed.
I might post differently if I knew what a smoking hot lady I was posting to so I like not knowing.
