Because there are others, far better qualified than myself, who have reached the same conclusion.
Today's science is based more on mathematical models than empirical observation, this can lead to some grave fundamental errors being made, and further these errors go unnoticed because no-one fully understands the math behind it.
Electromagnetic theory in particular is in a bad state, MIT the worlds leading authority in this field post highly misleading and confusing lectures on their site, not even bothering to keep to the S.I. standard of units, but rather inventing their own.
Particularly the electric field, charge (Q) being measured in coulombs, but being explained as 'something acting on nothing'-which is of course impossible, as Tesla stated way back when.
Of course they don't call it 'nothing'-they call it a 'quantum action field' or whatever fancy pseudo-scientific name.
This is not science. Science is observing & reporting the facts, not inventing mumbo-jumbo tech speak to explain something they can't explain.
They can't even try to explain a magnet without falling into the 'work equation' trap--jeez....
