Screen Shots -- iPhone 4 vs iPhone 3GS

Here is a current screen shot with my iPhone 4.

Here is a screen shot from my iPhone 3GS.

The difference is undeniable. The icons, the text.. all of it is just amazing. And while the 3GS looks so outdated here, when not in comparison to the 4, I don't think anybody has ever had complaints with this model. Which only speaks to how amazing the display on the iPhone 4 actually is. It blows a product out of the water on issues that consumers have never had a problem with.

The upgrade was almost bittersweet because I was receiving a better phone, but I was losing my jailbreak for the time being.

Well you got your cake...just a little bit longer to eat the whole thing.

Glad your happy with it chiss'.

This is the case I use, and I'm very happy with it.

My son corrupted his ipod the other day using SSH and when we tried to save it, we had no choice but to upgrade. Now he's stuck with 4.1 and it's currently un-jailbreakable. He is NOT happy.
GreenPois0n promises a release soon, but nothing yet.

Third party apps are great, but sometimes you get a glitch and things go south quick.
I tried to roll back to 4.0, I actually tried all of my tricks, but no dice until the Man opens the lock.

I keep SSH disabled. While it does stifle some creativity, I'm happy with what I can do without it and it keeps me a little more secure. With the Terminal app still not updated to mesh with iOS4, jailbroken iPhones with SSH enabled are a massive vulnerability to be exploited.

Explain that to a 12 year old boy.
He was warned, but he wanted to learn SSH enough to load larger apps without long sync times.
I trust he has learned a valued lesson with his ipod back in 'jail'.

I see Rock Your Phone has finally merged with Cydia, so I deleted Rock.

Any one out there have a favorite app for music management?
I tried some ipod substitutes, but didn't care for them. One would think there would be a huge demand for such apps.

update: Greenpois0n has released the new jailbreak!
bad news is that it does not work for 3G and lower.
They plan to release it soon though.

My boy was bummed, but he is patient.
