Everyone is listed in the order in which they asked, and everyone on the list asked before the deadline. I'm fairly confident that I didn't miss anyone. The bolding is in order to make the list more readable.

Hopefully, that will save a few minutes and bring us a bit closer to getting the ball rolling, officially.

Well first off, well done and thanks for taking the time to make that list!

But, and I'm not 100% sure about this, but from reading this post previously in this thread and from what's wrote in the opening post (specifically the 3rd paragraph) it seems that the list of participating members shouldn't be ordered on who asked first, although that should be still took into consideration, but instead I think the more experienced members are placed in front of those who have never debated.

So in other words the fighters in your list who have already fought and are higher up in the ranking list should be placed higher than those who are lower down or have never "fought".

I have to disagree. Because a member hasn't debated on ATS before doesn't mean that they are a stranger to debate. Secondly, our debate forum is not and should not be one that creates an atmosphere of some sort of status. Everyone should be equal. Throw all the names into a hat and draw them out to determine seatings imo.

Oh, I know and I really do agree that because someone may be inexperienced in the debate forum, they are in no way inexperienced in debate but I was pointing out that as far as I was aware, the way the debate tournament on ATS was organized (going from the posts I linked to) the more experienced fighters will be seeded higher than us non experienced fighters rather than seeded in such a way that’s it's first come first serve.

I wasn't trying to say that the more experienced members should be placed before us.

I was just pointing out the system I thought was in place for this tournament. That's all

The Senior Tournament will begin next Monday, 10/04/2010..

The Junior Tournament shortly after..

U2Us will go out tomorrow and remember you MUST respond to the U2U within 48 hours to be included in the Tournament..

The Tournament Bracket will be posted after we have confirmation from all participants..

For interest's sake, here's the lists I've made from interest expressed in this thread. This is for information/entertainment purposes only. I've made some assumptions about how the tournaments will be structured that I have absolutely no basis for making



Senior Tournament
includes people with "Fighter" titles and people listed in the current rankings list. I've used the ranks in the list to order participants, with the exception of KrazyJethro who seems to have been culled from the list in one of the updates.

Personally, I think that the winners of each tournament should meet in a final match to determine the overall title. But that's just my opinion
