"When a married person uses pornography, or is unfaithful, it compromises not just his (or her) purity, but also compromises the spouse's purity. As a church, we need to teach a higher standard than abstinence."

Nope. She says pornography is unfaithful and compromises not just his or her purity, but the spouse's purity as well. If I look at pornography, and I masturbate, my wife is going to hell!

She also says abstinence is not a high enough standard?

She also happens to be pretty hot! I would love to volunteer to show her the benefits of adultery. If it saves the Tea Party I will do it. I am a Patriot like that. I don't mind adultery with hot women as long as it is for a good cause!

The interview was 1998 and it was with MTV, and she looks to be less than 40 years old. Maybe it was taken out of context? Maybe she was a silly 20 year old at the time? Who knows, but she is certainly cuckoo if she still believes this, and it is probably from restricted blood flow due to sexual frustration. AGAIN, I know just the cure!

Well when the Southern Democrats left the Democratic Party between 1964-1972 due to the Civil Rights Legislation they joined the Republican Party. Their core tenant was Social Conservatism, Cultural Conservatism and preserving our 'Christian heritage'. They were not much for Fiscal Conservatism so when they joined the Republican Party and was courted by Richard Nixon with his 'Southern Strategy' the Republican Party mostly lost its Fiscal Conservative streak in favor of its 'Southern Strategy' of Social Conservatism.

Which is why since Nixon every Republican is just as big of spender as the Democrats. It also explains the origins of Neoconservatism around that time as well. Since the '60s Liberals of McGovern and McCarthy took over the Democratic Party in '68 it chased out all of the pro-Vietnam war Democrats over into the Republican column. So much of what the Republican Party does bad now you can thank the shunned Democrats of the '60s because the Republican Party and Blue Dog Democrats of today were the Democrats of 40 years ago.

Sorry, guess I should have been more clear. I was speaking of pre-marital adultery.

Palin aligned herself with us, not vice versa.

I have recently been disappointed at the Tea Party "sell-outs" even in my own local version. They are starting to believe that we need the support of Beck, Palin, Fox, etc. They are starting to endorse a lot of Republican candidates because they are the "lesser of two evils." That is not how things were run last September. We had a wonderful Sept. 12 rally at the Capital and there were a lot of independent thinkers, candidates, and ideas. There were a lot of Democrats at the rally. There was a good mixture of race at the rally.

I am starting to think that this year's rally won't be nearly as successful or equally representative.

So, please don't think the Tea Party went out and aligned itself with these folks. In reality Palin cost McCain my vote. I voted for Obama, because McCain was obviously a puppet when he let his handlers put Palin on the ticket while admittedly not knowing that much about her and having never met her. I would never vote for a man with such poor decision making ability. BUT, in fairness, at this time I think the Tea Party is starting to accept its connection to these parasites and it is starting to think it requires their support. It is probably dying as a legitimate movement as I type this, and the November results will probably be a death certificate for the grass-roots version of the Tea Party.
