I saw that too and thought the same thing. However the claim that makes the story interesting, if true, is that they had a time limit to produce it. He won't say how long the time limit was except it was less than 45 minutes. If someone rushed a fake in say 30 minutes, I'd expect it to have a few more blatant problems. However we should question the whole story, I'm not completely convinced about what time time limit was. It strikes me a little odd that he says the time limit was less than 45 minutes but won't say how long it was.

It's no big deal unless you want to be president. The governor of California simply isn't eligible for the presidency because of where he was born, though I heard some of his supporters floated the idea of a constitutional amendment that would allow a foreign born person to be eligible, but it didn't happen.

This was probably the easiest 5k that Hospital worker could ever get from a naive tourist.

I doubt it would take 30-45 minutes for some unscrupulous staff member to fake a decent copy of a Birth Document with the template materials, the seal on hand, and Obamas' birth information available all over the web.

As a graphic designer with excellent working knowledge of Adobe CS I could provide an electronic version (or hard-copy with the proper materials) in less than half that time.

Easily.

Hell, he could pay me $5000 and I'll provide him with proof The First Lady was also born in Kenya at the same hospital.

It won't pan out in the end, but I can provide it so he could continue to unreasonably cast doubt on the subject with more unfounded allegations that are likely to stick in the mind of the uninformed.

I just went to that Free Kenya BC site and plugged in some info in less than five minutes and I now have electronic proof that you were born in Kenya, too.

I went to the town hall were I was born. Got the full looks identical to original version, in fact the only way it was offered to me. Everyone else has to go to the health dept for theirs? Let's just end this stupidity right now, by laying out the actual law here.

Obama's father is a Kenyan. His mother is from Kansas. His mother is a US citizen.

14th Amendment:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Court precedent has already determined that the idea of "Natural Born" would include a child of a citizen who was away or on trip.


Obama is born of a US citizen, and even if he was born while she was visiting or even staying in Kenya with Obama Sr, Obama Jr is still a US citizen, natural born, and eligible for the presidency.

Now can we PLEASE move on to more productive discussion?

Well the source of the OP itself is questionable but in the Birther world you don't need credible sources. Just some guy who bribed a Hospital Clerk in a poor country with $5000 is a good enough source with the Birther movement. The Birthers need to read the definition of "Delusional" I put up on my last post. Fits them to the T with a Capital T.

God I'm glad I don't live in the US, it's going to hell in a handbasket quicker than I thought.

I don't know if he was born in Kenya, I don't think he was. But if He was Hillary wouldn't have brought that up because they were fighting a fake battle, they were both financed by the same industries that BO has bailed out and Bush bailed out, they republicans and democrat politicians fight and bicker with each other but the right wing and the left wing are just the wings of the same eagle, there is always a head in the middle controlling the national politics. The dual party system is just there as a toll to "divide & conquer" the mass population and maintain a status quo so that the Illusion of actual representative democracy exists.

Why does it seem like most birthers think the election was between Obama and Hillary?

The birth certificate is already an obvious fake and among them is the fact the birth certificate was signed in July 61', Obama was born in August. However as BH said, heres to hoping one of the birther congressman or woman actually gets this birthcertificate assessed by Kenyan authorities. After all, Lucas has been reluctant to do so himself

Lucas himself is a rather interesting Fella. He has been caught on forums claiming all sorts of things, he is really not new at this.

But all this is really irrelevant to birthers. Even if a known criminal came forward to them and presented a birth certificate written in Crayon, birthers will still insist it has not been disproven. The fact is so long as Obama remains president, he will always be ineligible in some way. nothing will change their minds until he leaves and the next 'average family values joe' from Texas takes his place.

imo whether or not he is a natural born citizen doesnt matter at this point. if he was found to not be legally eligible to be president, the country would curmble to bits and pieces. no side would win except maybe our grandchildren a hundred years from now. if it had been found out within the first 6 months of his presidency it might have been a different story but this far into it i think it would just damage our country as a whole.
