You got me laughing on that last post.

S.O. I like the fine tuning you have done over the past day or so. Nice job. Overall I am really liking the changes...and parts I wasn't wild about at first are growing on me quickly with use.

I think it's great, don't know why so many are having a problem, haven't had one glich, everything looks great, truth is I don't come here for candy, it's all about the content.

Thanks for the reply SO. My primary device for the web is an iPhone as I'm on the move a lot, hence my gripe.

I forgot to add in my previous post:

The inclusion of BTS on the recent posts page was a very welcome addition. The unnecessary repeat login was quite frustrating.

Love the new avatar by the way.

To Doomsday2029:

Bit of a drastic decision mate, give it a bit more time? Ok, there's a few differences, but it's not like it's the new Dodge Charger...

My two cents worth,..
Don't like the new recent posts page,.
it is too blended together..

When I first saw all the threads displayed in the same colour, it threw me off too. Then I started actually reading ALL the titles and realized what I had gotten into the habit of was picking certain forums that always interested me most because of the different colours.

Now I find myself clicking through threads in forums I never really cared for before.

The coloured thread titles made it easier to focus on favs, but now I think the experience is 'wider'.

I hope the black-background on hover can be removed alltogether, I don't see what purpose it serves, and I find it EXTREMELY annoying.

Is there any way we could get the MyATS button squeezed into the top? perhaps change "Discussion Board" to "Forum" or shorten the present buttons? I knew it is finiscky, but I have found myself not using the button since the change was implemented. I know where it is now located, but it was so much better to have it right on the main page as it used to be.

I am getting used to the switchover and I overall like the new design. (not as shocking as I thought it was going to be) HUGE thanks for keeping BTS separate, S.O., you are DA MAN!

About the rotating background...

You know what would be cool? Rotating avatars!

Is there a way that we can use the same code like is used for the top background image for use with our Avatars?

I don't want the top background image itself but a set of my own avatars that change when the page is refreshed.

Is that possible. I see that it's being used on the background.

Loving the new site layout, and especially the new U2U function!

I was wondering how it would work, and now I know - it's pretty cool.

Great job, and I'm looking forwards to seeing more as it comes into being

Just want to let TPTB know I can see clearly now. The colors no longer blend into a glowing mess and I can make out text just fine without resorting to tricks and manipulation.

Makes sense about the automatic redirect when accessing the mobile site from a non mobile device. I hate it when sites do that. As if they know better than I do what it is I want. Because I typed "" accidentally? I hate it when they force the mobile version of the site on my mobile device too. Kills some of the functionality. I cant access my bank account from a mobile device because of that "auto" crap.

Anyway, it's all much better than it was Friday and Tuesday.

Loving the new backgrounds, some are really beautiful, looks like there is something for everyone..

Overall, looks great. My only gripe is the "Recent Posts" page. Thread topics are spaced too far apart with the file graphic, then all the info under the thread title. It takes longer to skim the treads. I liked the one line thread preview better. More compact and easier to browse.

The new 2010-theme and code has now been added to the New-Thread and Post-Reply form. Most members will notice a significant performance enhancement with the new page, in addition to an improved post preview function.

This is a pretty cool change IMO.

It just looks a lot better and more appealing and the preview button in particular was something that I think should have definitely been improved and from it looks of it, it certainly has.

Thanks for this.

Everything has just got lightening fast all of a sudden!

Is this a result of the changes made to ATS or is this something my end?

- new form has an improved preview function, and faster overall performance

That's not working for me yet? Is it still being coded?

Just an FYI: Still getting the blue, jumbled text down the left hand side of the screen after a refresh...

Also, as I'm someone who (seems to) edit almost every post I write, I really Love the new "edit line" appearance in the threads. The gray box makes the post flow more smoothly and is less intrusive. Well done!

Seems to be working for me.

Is this what you're seeing as well??

Congrats on the new UI! I really like it! Much simpler to use than the old one, and is full of eye candy.
