Fomalhaut blew it since Vulcan was a speculated planet closer to the sun than Mercury.
What is interesting is that only this single article makes this claim. I think it is a fake article. Even if it isn't it makes little difference
since Fomalhaut provided zero evidence of more planets. His use of any name is of no importance since names are assigned by committee.
