Because it has the word "rapture" in the title...
These threads always explode, while good, well thought out threads die a quick death.

The 'next week' refered to in the title came and went over three months ago!

For the the rapture it was kind of dissapointing

Personal web site removed is about the coming lunar and solar eclipses that will take in 2014 - 2015 on the Jewish Holidays of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. Previous lunar eclipses which occurred on Jewish holidays have coincided with major historical events.

"Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days, (remember it says after, not before), He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his ELECT from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." The term "rapture" is not even stated in scripture. Tribulation is almost exclusively given to God's people. There are many verses to support this. Deut 4:30, Matt 13:21, Matt: 24:21, and there are more. The "rapture" theory is not Biblical. Oh, and this one: Rev. 7:14. Clearly, the "church", is going to go through tribulation. The term "The Great Tribulation" isn't even used in scripture. It is man made.

Do you realise you are wasting your life away paying attention to rubbish like this? Id do some proper research of your own into the bible if I were you, you'll discover some important things, like there is no rapture, and the bible that is used to day has a lot of differences, some pretty major, to what was originally written - in fact, there are no known surviving originals. And if there are we will never have access to them. Theres plenty of topics on this site discussing the above and there is also google so you can begin to research it for yourself and not have to take anyones word for it.

Do you realise you are wasting away your life responding to threads like this? You believe what you believe, they believe what they believe. You bring your thoughts, opnions, conjecture, facts, interpretations and observations to this thread, just as they do. If it really was such a dead end joke of an opinion, why would you even bother to waste your precious time and existence replying to a thread that you find laughable and ridiculous? Do you have so much time to waste that you would spend it chasing shadows?
I was going to say 'you have too much time on your hands', but that's not true; you have just as much as everyone else. You just don't know what to do with it.
