I don't fear you or what you're talking about at all. I just know you aren't the messiah, or cain or abel or anyone biblical.

So you can try to wrap up another "well worded" reply on how I'm some skeered little boy, but you're just trying to convince yourself and not me.

I think everyone here agrees that God loves Jazz and even though
many discussions were had about what symbolism would be used
to proclaim the beginning of 'Rapture-Week'... God insisted that the
horn section would have their day.

Aghhhh not Jazz, Only Science Teachers and the Mentally Ill like Jazz.

Still it could explain why the rapture is late, God is in a Jazz Trance and everyone is scared to bring him out of it

This could be true -Mr. Spanners, God could be sat back... (in his own
Rapture?)... in his tweed jacket with a 80's headset on, tapping the arm
of his throne and listening to Kenny Ball & His Jazz Men.
But it's just a theory.

I don't actually have any files to present, to show that the Lord ACTUALLY
is a jazz fan, I just have a feeling.
Maybe Vonour could assist? He seems to know what's going on up there
in the clouds. Although... late at night, I sometimes hear a 'thrump-thrump'
of a base being strummed.
Could that be the omnipotent One chilling?

It's certainly a subject that deserves it's own thread.

Every end of the world prediction has failed, including this one. ALTHOUGH, it is entertaining and keeps those who live dull lives on the edge of their seats and gives them something exciting to think about.

I agree ,although the timing of... excuse me, I fell off the edge of my seat...
the timing couldn't be more perfect because this sort of 'end-of-the-world'
stuff always surfaces just before the real one hits.

Remember 30004 BC? That was one helluva ride and we didn't have email then,
oh no... we had to make do with knocking dinosaur bones against Copple-Cacti
to relate the info to our ACS (Above Cave Secrets) comrades.
But I digress... and once I dyed my whole lawn, but I'm still off topic.

If the Rupture comes and we all stand quietly in a queue, we'll find out who's been
naughty and who's been... sorry, I fell off again, damn leather skirt... who's been nice.

Great thread though.

It did not happen nor did I expect it to. Who made up the idea of repture anyway. It's not in the bible.

Damn looks like I missed the rapture, God must of only taken the 100 or so missing people from that day.

Hey I just found the match for evil, it's called advil
and it's a pain "killer" it will kill you all the way so there would be bliss.

And there was advil and evil, and advil is just like evil, witch one is the most evil one.

what if the rapture took place Sept 11, 2001?

Did 144,000 people die that day?

More than that dies everyday. It's just plain silly to think that with 6+ billion people on Earth 144,000 deaths scattered all over Earth would get much attention. Those numbers need to be updated to reflect our current reality otherwise the rapture happens every single day and nobody really cares.

And without any disrespect to the people that lost their lives at 9/11, but thinking that the rapture would only happen in US soil is beyond pretentious.

In the end this whole thing of setting dates for such hypothetical event is just way too silly, but I guess someone will eventually get a date right

There'll be no rapture because there is no God.

Simply isn't.

And tell me... if this one hadn't failed who will be around to say "I told you so!" if they are right and how would YOU know about it?

I can't believe I spent 30 seconds to bother writing that...

But my birthday is that week!

How about a more suitable date such as December of 2012?

How about tonight, during the total lunar eclipse.
December 21st, 2010.
"be seeing you..."

Wow.

Forty pages on a subject like this. Guess a lot of people are hopeful of escaping what BigGov has planned for them. The Bible says that in the End Times man will seek death and it will flee from them.

Stop the world, I wanna get off.
