Goats rescued after 2 days on 6-inch ledge in Mont

"Two young goats wandered onto the thin ledge of a railroad bridge and spent nearly two days high above the ground until rescuers in a towering cherry picker plucked them from their perch, hungry but safe."

I was inspired to post this after I read another thread that brightened my day today...

Thank you, I needed this after the puppies thrown in the river thread.

Nice to have feel good stories.

And to add to this here is the video of them being rescued.

Question, how in sam heck did these two goats end up there in the first place

Ahhh... I didn't know there was a video... very cool! Thanks..

Here's what they said about how they got there...

“Church said it wasn't clear how the nimble-footed animals got into the predicament, but she speculated they wandered onto the ledge at night then froze after the sun rose and they discovered where they were.”

When I was watching the video it looked like the brown and white goat was looking over the edge like... hurry up you guys! lol

They took so long to get up there and get them... even tho I knew they had been saved I was still trying to mentally make the bucket go up faster.... haa haa
