Firstly, I live near Albany and can totally recall the footage that was shot. It was shot on the local Fox station and was not immediately identified.
Then, of course, it came out that this was, indeed, a missile. Whether it was air to air or surface to air, I have no idea and cannot claim.
I think the missile-9/11 attack premise has already been discussed, but there is very little merit. As for the likelihood that there was a missile
originating from Albany, that's totally bunk. Albs is about 180 miles from NYC, and any missile traveling that distance would most assuredly
Additionally, the Albany Airport doesn't have any bunked weapons. The reserves have a few helicopters there, as do the local police. But other than
that, there aren't any weapons to speak of - at least not any sort of air to air/sfc to air missile facilities that would be necessary to launch a
weapon for such a long distance.
Needless to say, vegemite, I'd have to say you've been debunked by the Mauser.
PS - Your signature, if I recall correctly, is a mistaken Groucho Marx quote. It should be: "I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into
my pajamas, I'll never know"
