My favourite part;
"They had radioed the police with details of the killers' getaway car, but got the make and model wrong."
Not the best guys to have on a stake out if they can't get simple details like this right. Particularly when you are in the business of terrorism prevention.
Surely they were on heightened alert given the nature of the work?
The Walsh family have requested a new investigation by the police ombudsman into how the RUC's initial investigation was carried out. This must be particularly difficult for this man's family to have to live through this tragedy again.
