Well there you have it folks. The words right from the horses ass, erm mouth.

Do you really think these progressives care what you or I think. They believe freedom of speech is an outdated idea to be shelved when they get the chance.

Hey, do not even bother advertising or campaigning against these people, they are ALREADY done. Just let them speak and they will sink themselves.

Dem Gov on Beck Rally "It's a free country, I wish it weren't."

If we can imbed video from eyeblast, could one of the mods do it, I am not aware we can yet.

Anyway, long story short, listen to the real feeling of the governor. The more that we stand up and say hell no, we are not going to take it any longer, they just keep speaking their minds. Remember Obama saying, "You would think these people would be saying thank you, that is what you would think."

As we in the truth side of the debate, let them say it in their OWN WORDS.

This is the elitist mentality of your progressive representatives. Freedom of speech is an outdated right in their eyes. They wished you would all just shut up, sit down and thank them for the slavery to the government.

Virtually all of the politicians feel that way. Not surprisingly so does a large percentage of the voting population. We love authoritarianism here in the states. Love to our own detriment as long as it sticks it to the other guy too.

It's not Progressives, Socialists, Centrists, Liberals or Conservatives that believe this crap, it's the elitists. The ones who spew this nonsense are elitists and to equate them with their supposed beliefs is rediculous.

I don't call all Conservatives as bad just because people like Bush or Beck, I call elitsts exactly what they are... elitists!

I would prefer civil liberty and personal financial responsibility over authoritarianism or statism.

Well, I think progressive are elitists.

Tell me, do progressives believe that the government should be the arbiter of our labor? Do they believe they should take from everyone and pool the money in government, then redistribute it as THEY see fit?

If it barks like a dog, walks like a dog, WAGS THE TAIL like a dog, I call it a dog, not a cat.

Yes, there are progressive Repubs just as there are progressive Dems.

Tell me, why is it the Progressives think, that going after well paid individuals, has anything to do with going after the true rich? You do know the really, really, really rich do not make a dime in the individual income sort of way right?

That is why they all have trusts, foundations, etc etc etc.

Now, if I was a progressive I would tell you to shut up and sit down and we will take care of you. We will just take enough from everyone to provide for you. Maybe a little extra, say 75% for the administration of it, hey the government needs a little mad money for war you know. Also a little for a perfect surveillance and jackboot society. Just to keep you folks in line. Nothing too drastic, you know like only listening to your phone calls, reading your emails, tracking your vehicle, running body scans on you when traveling, traffic cameras, monitoring your electric usage, setting your temperature in your home, providing you with fluoride/lithium in your water, grants to our professors so they can help invaders into your country, deciding how much health care you receive based on your value and other "non invasive" procedures.

What you do not like that unit in your slum, the government provides for free? You would think you would be thanking them. Listen to the president, he knows what to do with your labor better than yourself.

There is a DIFFERENCE between the government jackboot progressives and the talkshow hosts you mention.

Who has the power?

Pretty strong statement. There not even trying to hide themselves as moderates anymore. Oh well at least we know which ones are the problems.. I wonder whats going to be the tipping point that wakes up most of the sheep?

Unfortunately, I doubt there will be a tipping point. I do apologize for being so negative here - But the sheep will remain sheep. They're almost all a little too dependent/ignorant to wake up and smell the coffee.

Hell, maybe I'm wrong...I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I believe is the bottom line of politics and the sheeple who follow.

When I read that I wanted to say that in the inevitable financial collapse when there isnt anything to be dependent upon we'll get a proper rise up.

Then I recall Greece and it's financial collapse. There was a rise up of sorts but all the idiots were yelling and shouting for more dependence. The outrage pretty much amounted to "where's my handout?" and "I refuse to let you cut back my handouts!"

As though they hadnt learned a damn thing.

Well, there may be a tipping point or a system collapse...

but, unless the people uncondition themselves individually from the slave mentality, the people will still allow the next system to master them. When we are free within, we need no system to give us freedom.

I remember Bill Clinton saying that he would rule by executive order if he had to. Sometimes people, when they get a little power, go into dictator mode and don't even realize that they have (or they don't care that they have).

I agree they don't care or they want to be a tryant. With the people in there now. I think they want to be.

I'm not a fan of the labels, and as horrid as this sounds, he is free to speak his mind; it's when he or his associates take action to assure we aren't allowed that same freedom that worries me, which is [unfortunately] happening as I type this.

However, I do believe the fact that these things are being openly discussed more often, recently, implies people are slowly starting to question their authority figures in accordance with the Constitutions through the guide of Reason.

I have to agree with you here.

The hope is that those of us that have prepared, can help these folks.

We will have to or you know what will happen, the lock down.

And then none of us will have any rights.

The problem is, if the US falls, no one will bail us out.

Greece's people screamed and what happened? The rest of us gave them money in a loan. Problem is, when you are already in debt, what the HELL will another loan do for you?

Just kick the problem down the road some more.

Oh well, the global debt crisis is going to come to a head sooner than many realize.

Help who you can. Peace.

there is freedom of speech but with 2 caviats:

you agree with left you can say whatever you want

or you bash and disagree with people like beck and anti mosquers or bash and name call anyone the left hates on,

if your in that group such as myself who speaks out on things that the left disagrees with well then thats when "there shouldnt be free speech" or you "should have been on that plane that crashed in alaska" or " you shouldve died from your heart problems"

endisnighe/tyrannyispeace/saltheart foamfollower is right!

We should always take conversations way out of context to fit our own narrative. Exactly!

This may be true. There's an article in the Boston Herald that explains the governor wishes it wasn't held at the Lincoln Memorial, not that he wishes it wasn't a free country.

There was a disturbing snippet in that same article though; his reasoning for the above is because he believed the Lincoln Memorial is a sacred ground, as if a temple of worship.

Yeah, funny how the left attacks, attacks, attacks.

When a nutjob stabs a cabby
When a nutjob flys a plane into an IRS building
When a nutjob plants a bomb in NYC
When a nutjob firebombs a Democratic office
When a nutjob paints a Swastika on a Democratic office
.
.
.

They accuse them of being conservative and a teapartier.

Then lo and behold they are nutjob lefties.

Typical.

Really, taken out of context?

Did you listen to the linked audio? Probably not.

Or are you talking about ol Bama? Where he was talking about the Tea Partiers and stated exactly what I quoted.

Wow, way out of context.

Also, if you cannot discuss the topic or OP, why do you even bother?

Saltheart the giant forgives you.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from whatukno

Amen.

edit to add Amen-can I get an Amen?
