NO!

The USA should just boot the headquarters back to some other sucker country that will take them. Problem is, no one wants the headquarters as they see what a waste of money it truly is.

Let NY knock the building down and make a parking lot for businesses that produce American jobs and taxes.

Just ask NY about all the crap those "Diplomats" do and how many unpaid parking tickets etc. They go to NY and crap all over the local laws.

That's just NY. Now consider all the countries that vote against us then expect foreign aid.

YES!

Please look at the following chart:

Chart

Now note the period between 1986-2007.

Maybe after the US leaves the UN, the UN might actually be able to do something significant.

Unfortunately, the US is now using the UN the same way the USSR did during the cold war.

And, I don't think many people realize how bad those kind of actions are.

Add in the corperate interests that hace entered the UN via the permenant security council members....oh damn...

I just realized that the problem isn't the US, or USSR/Russia, the problem is having PERMENANT security council members that have effectively removed the teeth from the tiger.

If the UN had an effective rotating council, maybe then resolutions would mean something, as they would be enforced appropriately.
