I'm a sceptic and a believer by varying degrees across a variety of topics, and my stance regarding each is dependent on the merit (or lack of merit) evident in each topic, strictly on a case-by-case basis. Your attempt to polarise the community of ATS is easily seen through, as is the general negative overtone of your post towards 'believers', as you call them. 'Lunatic' is not a nice word to use in describing anyone, even if they have mental health issues. There's no need for the OP to apologise for anything, though you've made it seem that there is, through the use of very precise wording and paragraph structure.

Congratulations - you successfully maintained a position of plausible deniability should anyone call you out for planting seeds of negativity and ridicule in this thread, all the while making it look like you are genuinely interested in having this debate!

Was it just an exercise in showing us how it's done?
