Mayan Elders view of 5-6 hrs before 2012 and just after

I suspect the moon really does increase the crime rate among werewolves. But there is an environmental factor that significantly reduces crime: inclement weather--rain, snow, blizzards, high winds, extreme cold, extreme heat. Or so I've heard. Go for a walk at night in a monsoon during a full moon and you'll probably be safe from muggers.

Evidence for a young world

While I've never even heard of half of these topics, it turns out the author makes some pretty good points... basically, either the people that wrote our textbooks are completely lying to our faces (which kind of makes sense when you think about our current Education System in detail... i mean, even Pink Floyd was singing about "The Wall" around 40 years ago..)

When that happens, synthetic manufactured objects which consist of materials which do not occur naturally on the Earth, begin to disappear over a wide gradient, depending what the materials are.Since axis/conscious/grid changes have happened continously for millions of years, this is why there are few manufactured objects from previous civilizations (some of which have been more advanced than ours) which remain to tell the tale.

If you want to know what the Mayan think of 2012 you need to go to the Mayans. www.shiftoftheages.com is the ONLY site supported by the 13th generation Mayan spiritual leader and head of the National Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala (a governmental appointed post to represent the Maya), Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj who posts messages on the site. To get the word out they have finished a documentary that will be the only direct message from the Maya on 2012. I have listened to many of Don Alejandro's messages and transcripts from events he has attended.

I also know of Drunvalo and his message does have some truth to it. The Mayan Council speak of the 3 days of darkness that we will go through as we enter the great photon belt. Apparently, the photons are so dense that the sun can't reach us and it takes 3 days to pass through it. We will be in this belt for 2000 years and will be bombarded with torsion waves from the black hole in the center of our universe. Torsion waves alter DNA..they evolve it rapidly. It all becomes a dimensional shift. As the Mayan Elders put it, its a shift in consciousness.....The Great Shift as they see it.

Is there anywhere on the internet to go to READ what this guy has to say about it? All I saw was a bunch of markers for flash videos, which I can't watch, and a page telling me I could be some kind of "ambassador" for the right price, in US dollars.

I'm beginning to be convinced that I'll never be able to afford to "have my consciousness raised" or whatever this thing is supposed to do.

The Mayan calendar does not count down to "year Zero" that is flatly incorrect statement. Do your own research and don't rely what people are trying to sell you, it's easy to be confused or fall into their sales pitch.



I have listed the information their website does not, the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012, but in fact goes on for thousands of years past 2012.

It looks to me like they're just saying that the beginning of the 14th baktun is a new beginning, a zero point, where the calendar start a new baktun, in the same way that we start a new year every 1 January.

Some one, some where, misunderstood that to be a count-down to zero.

Some are failing to grasp the complexity of the Mayan calendar, the various counts ant the way they mesh together, and the fact that ALL of those cycles don't start all at the same time nearly as frequently as the Gregorian calendar, which has only one count, one cycle, to deal with.

What we are approaching is an instant when ALL the Mayan calendric cycles start over again, all at the same time. It's like a series of cogs, some with more teeth, some with fewer, all meshed together. Put a dot of red paint at the top dead center of each one, start them to rotating, and each one will have that dot at top dead center once each revolution (as our calendar does each year), but ALL of them running it back to the top at the same instant will occur far less frequently - but it WILL happen, and then the next wait begins.

One Mayan cycle has 260 days (think of a day in this instance as a tooth on the cog, meshed with teeth on the next, bigger cog), one has 360 days, and it's been so long since I studied it that I can't recall all of them. I know there's one count that completes every 52 years, one completes every 5200 years, and I think one completes about every 13,000 years. Might be one at 3600 years, too (I can't recall exactly), and one rolls up into the millions of years.

Nothing more.

It is a cyclical calendar, there for it doesn't end here in 2012, but I think at this point of time within the cycle we go into an uncharted area of consciousness on which we may not have past into before.

Rather than being a linear end-point, this cycle that is closing is naturally followed by the start of a new cycle. What this new cycle has in store for humanity is a mystery that has yet to unfold...

No, not in terms of the complete destruction of the Earth and some kind of annihilation scenario. 2012 is not bringing the end of the planet.

When we contemplate the expression "end of the world" let us realize the term "world" can refer to a cycle; a period of time; a world age era. Therefore 2012 is signalling the completion of one World Age Cycle, transitting into an emerging New World Age to come.

It is said that the world we are ending is the one that is dominated by materialism and ego consciousness, therefore it may be that the world to follow will be founded on different values that honor the spirit of the interdependence of all of life.

This website has some very simple FAQ's that I think are along the right lines. Although I do not know the direct references of their material. If anyone has done some serious analysis of any Mayan ancient material, it would be great to see if this has a real correlation, until then it's information to be taken with a grain of salt or what's true for you.

This part is important

Out of all else on this thread, this is where all the fear and worry of learning about the so called doomsday should lead you, what you should understand or at least have an open mind about and begin to comprehend what this means for you and your own behaviour. If you don't know it already, I'm quite sure you will or you are not ready to in this lifetime.

Yes, they don't do a very good job of explaining their explanation..


What concerns me is when anyone presents Mayan beliefs tweaked to appear like the world ends, or aliens will increase vibration cycle of the earth, or we will transcend to a higher dimension, etc, etc.
There is nothing in Mayan beliefs that support those views, or any view other than this is flipping the page of a highly complex Calendar.

The Mayan culture were the most advanced scientists and Mathematicians of their day, and for the next few hundred years. They had to gather and confirm incredible amounts of data to calculate their calendar system, predict eclipses, and understood our universe in a way Europeans could not begin to comprehend. It frightened Missionaries and Explorers, and with weak Human nature what frightens us we tend to destroy.

There are accounts of fires burning for months to destroy written records of Mayan astronomers and scientists...who know what was lost, one of Histories great tragedy's.
What was left boggles the mind, a civilization so long ago could have been so advanced, we need to make up stories and theory's how it could have achieved its level of science.

We minimize their accomplishment,discard their discipline and science when we credit aliens or other such sources. They were a highly advanced people because they sought answers to the most basic questions in science. We should Honor their quest.

You know I wish we were still on the mayan calendar, every month has the same amount of days and there are thirteen months all synched to the moon. It would make us more tuned with nature being in line with the calendar.

There is a great deal of nonsense that has been written about the Mayan long count. Sounds like it might be the end of duality as we know it. This would not just be in the brain (left/right hemispheres not functioning 50/50 but also as humans and individuality to a certain extent - I'm not suggesting individuality will disappear but maybe we change by seeing the world as connected, or more the fact that we are all connected...)

Thank you very much for this information, and indeed the link you have provided above. I have read ALL that Drunvalo Melchizedek says in that link and have to say I very much resonate on the level of understanding in which it is presented.

Its my belief the consciousness shift is already happening, at least within my own soul, and that of others I have met over the past few years.

Being a photographer, and spending A LOT of time in and around Nature I find myself very much in tune to the wildlife, tree's, flora and fauna. Feeling their presence and indeed their emotions on a spiritual level is something I experience alot. I have felt a connection with the wildlife, in which I have had animals that would normally run away, sit at my feet and indeed, if a bird, come and sit on the end of my camera's lense. Feeling their presence and seeing the aura's around tree's and flowers puts me in a brilliant position to live in harmony with The Law of One, in which we are ALL equal, Oneness, with the creator, that is, the Universe!

To make this transition, at this coming of a new age, its my belief to let go of not only the ego, but also the negativity. Only a positive minset and STO [service to others] will make this transition. Then, and only then, will we experience this consciousness shift in which Drunvalo Melchizedek presents!

On a personal level, I am, and have been, experiencing this and very much look forward to this new, positive, loving and caring new age that waits us.
