Prediction:
~2015 US complete collapse~

Many are simply wanne be pozer prophets.

To the OP

The US federal government killed ~700,000 American citizens during the 1860s to ensure a handful of states paid their federal taxes and obeyed federal regulations.

That war was fought for many reasons not just taxes.

The US federal government killed ~117,000 American citizens during the 1910s to fight a completely unnecessary war that protected trade interests.

I would agree it was the first time the US came directly into helping our poor European allies and should have been avoided.

The US federal government killed ~418,000 American citizens in another European war to protect trade interests during the 1940s. The sovereignty of American soil was never at stake during all of WWII. The attack by Japan was intentionally provoked AND we knew it was coming a. of time.

Yeah The Germans smashing their way through Europe and Russia killing millions had nothing to do with helping the allies against them? Or the raping of Nanking China etc, with Japan gobbling up country after country and killing millions of Chinese and Koreans doesn't count aye?

The US federal government killed ~50,000 American citizens during the 1950s in yet another totally unnecessary war.

Let's not forget all the other tens of thousands of other international forces from the UN deployed from around the globe who fought side by side with the US which also had their soldiers fight and die not just Americans defending South Korea from an invasion from the Communist North.

The US federal government killed ~60,000 American citizens during the 1960s in yet another totally unnecessary war that did nothing to protect the sovereignty of American soil.

I guess you are referencing French Indo China AKA Vietnam. I'll agree that was a mess and in my humble opinion it's something we should learn from.

Praise Mao?

Have you even read how many tens of millions killed he was responsible for?

As for rest, I'd rather have dead euros than dead Americans.

Call me selfish if you must.

The Swiss managed to do alright.

I'd like to add a little to that as well.

Obviously I wasn't always an anarchist.

I was a Bill O'Reilly loving died-in-the-wool neocon for most of my adult life until I watched Ron Paul run for the US presidency.

Ron Paul forced me to recognize the logical fallacies of neocons and the true evil nature of the State. Ron Paul is the only good man in Washington. Without Ron, I would be in here demanding we continue looting and robbing each other in support of pointless wars.

Facing the evil of ones own belief system is not easy.

I understand why so many believe that looting and violence is a proper way to run a society - I too believed that at one point.

(ps. Ron Paul is secretly an anarchist too) but you didn't hear that from me.

I think the obvious proper solution to this is as follows:

1. I come to your home and hold a machine gun to your ..

2. You give me all of your money.

3. I spend that money on bug spray, while keeping the rest for myself, of course.

But I am an armed militant evil American that eats junk food, watches fox news, believes glenn beck AND rush limbaugh, has a low iq and enjoys taking my sexual frustrations out on less fortunate nations.

How will you get the first shot off?

I lost my home through a various series of schemes and philandering by evil deviant investment / real estate companies...which is totally somebody else's fault...and they have come to eat my children and have no money to steal?

What will be left for the dragon...i thought it was "mnementh"?

Clearly you have not looked at your local police departments inventory.

They have all the cool surplus toys from the US military.

In fact, even small towns like Ripon WI are getting armored vehicles from the military.

I'll just borrow a tank from your local PD and mow you down like the serf you are.

Of course, once you are dead, I'll get to keep all the money you were forced to dump into socialist security and take the rest of your property for myself.

You were too easy to bait. I love a good scrape and it was my understanding that you were more than excellent to argue with. My fault entirely. Please...continue rant.

I thought you were being sarcastic.

If you want me to be serious, I can be serious, it's just a lot less fun than being sarcastic.

Facts? His post is short on them.

I take it he's talking about the Korean War. Now, if I remember correctly, this was a United Nations action, not exclusively a US action. So, lemme guess, the US somehow pushed the North Koreans into invading South Korea??

And, according to him, every war since the Civil War was unnecessary.
That's an opinion. One that's probably not shared with the majority of Europe that got to experience the Adolf Hitler World Tour.

our involvement in the korean war was unecessary, that is his point. we did not push NK to invade SK but no body pushed us into it. clearly you think the reason we got involve was to stop the spread communism, that excuse is used whenever a communist nation goes to war, it is used often and was/is completely accepted as a valid excuse. one which i am sure you have drilled into your .. but the question is, did those 50k men and women have to die? of course not, but such is the price of our involvement. not to mention the 3 millions total in casualties.

we tried this again in southeast asia, we failed miserably but communisn contained itself in its own borders. the outcome would of been less destructive have we not gotten involved. if all those bomb hadn't dropped, if use of deadly poison weren't a weapon, the casualties would of been cut by more than half.

so, by not involving ourselves in the business of other nations, those casualties would not exist. further, we would of saved hundreds of billions and our weapons would not have destroyed the countries we were suppose to help.

world war 2 was a different story, germany was out for world domination which mean he will ultimately be a threat to us. the koreas just wanted to reunite and do not pose any threat to us.
