My highly speculative guess would be a partially decomposed whale.

I recall seeing a similar find a year or two ago and that is what it turned out to be.

it almost looks like a giant giant giant flatfish of some sort.
if it is fresh enough, those people probably are not going hungry that day.

all we need now is a giant frying pan...

nope, that pan isn't even big enough..

qualitygossip,
for future references, we might get this thread moved to the crypto forum:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

seriously though, i do not know what that thing is.

any takers?

Thanks for posting the photo. I've yet to suss out how to do that.

Whale could be right actually as it looks like the sort of black skin has decomposed?

I think it was proven to be a decomposing sperm whale and the tendrils were bacteria and or shrimp, krill and other bottom feeders and bugs of the sea. I saw this a while ago.

It looks like a typical water-borne mammal.

It's badly decomposing, so any 'hair' on it seems to be speculative.

My first guess is whale.

If that's not right, then my second guess would be a mutant spruce grouse.

End of story.

right click on photo from web.

go to "properties"

highlight & copy "address" of url (if not too long/more than 2 lines)

then paste that url code inbetween:

[ ats] and [ /ats] (without spaces).

you can see how i did it if you try and quote my post, to give you an idea.

Clearly, it's a blobasorious.

I think that this has been discussed on this site and others and most likely it's a decomposing whale.

I would guess that it is a rotted sperm whale. You can even see the where the "lines" were (the darker lines on top of it), in its blubber.

no problem, the Esoteric Teacher is also a student, always.

for future reference, though... a mod may edit out that quote. they do not appreciate long quotes.

but, for the purpose of that quote you were just learning how to embed a picture here on ATS.

no problems,

IT IS DEAD.

I'm going to say it's a Whale Shark, largest fish in the ocean. If it were a sperm whale I think the teeth would have definately been attached to the carcass and identifiable.
