North Korean leader 'visiting China'

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is reportedly visiting China for the second time this year, according to a South Korean presidential source.

"We're detecting moves that Kim Jong Il is traveling to China," the unnamed source told Seoul's Yonhap news agency. "If he hasn't arrived, he is on his way."

China's foreign ministry had no immediate comment on the reported visit.

Last time little Kim went to China, he asked China for J-10 fighter jets. China refused but said they would protect and supply North Korea if attacked first.

Now with all the SKorean and US drills in the area, pissing off China and North Korea...

And the new SKorean war drills involving the complete occupation of North Korea might piss them off... China don't want an United Korea on their border under NATO control.

The last meeting was in May... lots of provocations since then... and the Chinese and Russian probes into the sinking of the SKorean ship showed that North Korea didn't do it...

So me thinks China might have changed it's mind about arming North Korea.

Not to mention China could do with more jobs manufacturing stuff... if only to keep unemployed people from rioting and nationalism/fight against the imperialists/helping our NKorean brothers propaganda might help with morale.

Thing is ... two meetings in 4 months when the last time Kim went to China was only in 2006... something is up.

According to this Yonhap article, the trip is about the succession...

After all, North Korea's conference in early september will be the biggest in over 30 years. Kim Jong-un will probably be appointed the new leader.

We'll see..

You what is weird about this. Is that Jimmy Carted visited Kim Il Sung before he passed away and then Kim Jong Il took over. Now Kim Jong Il is Ill (Bad Pun) and now Jimmy Carter is there. I tell you we need to send Jimmy Carter to curse our enemys.
