I think both are whores unless they're asexual. If someone hasn't killed someone else, they aren't killers.

How about we rename your archetypes:

1. The Hunter

2. The Gatherer

3. The Academic

What's wrong with your post is it leaves a taste of narcissistic behaviour. You see, men can be a hunter and an academic but women can master all three without trying too hard AND be highly skilled at it.

Perhaps you should learn more about the habits of both sexes of the lions and tigers in the wild; one lives among it's pride (until the male "King" is kicked out of the pride by a stronger, younger and better version) while the other is more solitary. Either way, the males may be more ferocius but when it comes to hunting the females are the most skilled and knows how to assert her power when she chooses.

Eh... Didn't Freud take like ridiculous amounts of coc aine and actually prescribe it to some of his patients as a mood stabiliser? Yes he did.

And didn't one of his friends Fleischl-Marxow who Freud prescribed coc aine to treat his depression and morphine addiction, kill himself during a coke fuelled manic episode? Yes he did.

Good job Freud, if around today you would be ecstatic given all the Internet porn you could be looking at, and coc aine you could buy.

Are people seriously still using Freud's work as a reference?

LTripley, i was being sarcastic...probably didn't make it as obvious as i should have made it, but that doesn't negate the fact that woman in the younger age category are losing their morals and ARE becoming cheap, filthy whores, obviously that doesn't apply to all young woman, just an observation. Mostly due to the culture of binge drinking.

Frankly, men and women are interchangable in the roles you describe... both can be killers and both can be whores.

I lived in a fraternity house in college for 3 years, have been married 3 times, done a lot of foolish things, ...and some pretty smart things too. And here is what I have found...

There is nothing colder than a woman's heart when she doesn't love you anymore.

Men will do anything and tell you anything if they want to bed a woman bad enough.

Somewhere deep down inside of a woman, and it doesn't matter how strong or powerful or successful she may be, a woman wants the man to take control... if only for a while, but take control... she loves it and wants the man that she can't break and the one that can dominate her...if only for a while... be it in life or in the bed.

A man inside is a small child, he likes a handfull of things and once a woman figures those things out...the world is hers. Unfortunately, most all men like the same things... food, sex, toys, and heroes.

Men like a women that is their mother in the kitchen and a whore in bed.

Women like shinny things, and change...always changing...

These things being said, we can overthink anything. frankly, I just like treating people like people...respect, love, forgiveness, humility, and humor, and I always treated my wives good....I finally found one that appreciates it and we have been married 10 years now.

I'm no killer and my wife is not a whore... but we have fun pretending.

Are you serious? What do you sell it or something?

It's not the coc aine that caused him to kill himself it's the mental deterioration exacerbated by the coc aine use that led to his suicide.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that coc aine isn't dangerous, and linked to severe mental health problems? If you are you are delusional and why should I waste my time finding evidence for you.

You have google do a search I'm fairly certain you will find what you're looking for. Then again you will probably ignore it as you clearly have been.

I have to say, I'm a woman and one I hate my father as in he's a dead beat dad who steals my money. two, I like being a woman, I';m prettier three you basing all you info from Freud's work and the Electra complex.

I may use my body to get what I want but society is run by men, if I have to stoop to that level to excel I will. I'm not a whore, I'm just trying to get what I want. It's being resourceful. I do suggest you go up to a woman and call her a whore. You'll see her kill oooh you will.

You may already be familiar with his writing, but I would point you to Otto Weininger. You may find him interesting.

My understanding in terms of evolutionary pressures is that men are more inclined to both frankly. Although, such behavior and propensities are largely manifested on a spectrum on both sides of the gender aisle. There are always straight up anomolies as well.

However, in terms of generalizations...

Men are more aggressive. Period. And are indeed evolutionarily hardwired to be so... So no arguments from the peanut gallery on that one.

In regards to your conclusions about sex... Well... Not quite buying it. 'The Bee and Many Flowers' analogy is used pretty frequently to explain why/how men are compelled spread it around. I feel there is some truth to that. It hedges their bets for survivable offspring much more than a woman has to gain by engaging in the same level in terms of the behavior.

For women, this may not work out so well. In a more brutal society, well... Your chances of survival for yourself and your offsping are much, much better with a man. Might makes right. Unfortunate and animalistic, but it still applies, and it makes no sense for a man to put the resources into supporting a woman that habitually spits out genetics that have nothing to do with him.

However, there is quite a bit of evidence that females of many 'monogomous' species are hard wired to procreate with the 'manly man' (A.K.A 'The Jerk') and rope (*cough* dupe) the kinder, gentler male into putting the resources into raising them. One does wonder about females of our species in this as well. Hard to get someone to study that with any sort of objectivity however. It's a little charged.

Also, I would say that both genders have a majority of members that go through a period developmentally where they are ah... highly biologically driven to procreate often, and with many partners. In fact any culture throughout history has a complex series of social sanctions and inhibitions in place to counter that.

Females are historically especially reigned-in in this regard in large part, simply because paternal lineage can be difficult to prove, while maternal lineage is easier to validate.

In the crudest terms, one must control the womb so they only procreate with the designated male, so that he knows that he is only putting resources into his own offspring. Hence the social propensity toward seeing women as 'whores' for engaging in the same or even lesser degree of sexual behavior as men. It's an attempt to fascilitate deep shame, social stigma, and ultimately creating/threatening a pariah/omega/etc... in effect, pushing her to the fringe of the social group, thereby making her more vulnerable. Simply a method of control. So here I would counter that your designation and perspective may be at least in part influenced by said social sanctions.

As an aside, I will give you points for attempted sensationalism and 'shock factor' by the use of 'killers and whores' in the title. Good hook, but it's rather a cheap trick and detracts from the point. I suspect you are simply cruising for sparring partners rather than actually attempting to instigate a discussion with a broader purpose. It's too bad really. You bring up some interesting points. But I'll engage in the hope that...?

At any rate, this should be fun for you, and in that spirit... I am female, and in my tumultous youth I have enthusiastically been a notorious slut by pretty much anyones standards, not to mention a knock-down-drag-out-brawler. I am also an unmitigated, text-book-hard-core-b*tch, and Lord knows I've earned it.

Is the average Man a Killer and the average Woman a Whore? No. Both are silly generalisations concocted by minds occupied with viewing movies and watching TV. (Notice how I mentioned "viewing" movies and "watching" TV ...)
