Thank you for posting the link I cant say that I think God is the solution to America's problems also in terms of honour and integrity as a non-American the military-technological complex is not necessarily the first place to look there either.

If you do mean that a pair of retards is the only hope of this nation, it makes me even sadder.

Obama may be a dud of a president... I had hopes for him that were betrayed. And yet, putting your hope with turds like Sarah and Glenn is exactly the warning sign that the nation went mad.

Wow, start at home and family and your church.

Maybe if you would have watched the rally, maybe you would have realized that was pretty what was stated.

Funny how others just cannot get through their heads that more than 2 people spoke at the rally.

I give up with the trolls on this thread, specifically lying, obfuscating and purposefully being hateful.

I guess that must be the elitist in them. Tell me, which way do you folks lean, NO, do not bother Progressive Liberal RIGHT?

unsubscribed.

The event that was organised by Glenn had loosely defined goals, basically as what he said ' pay tribute to heroes, heritage and future, the nation return to its foundation principles, a call for the return to embrace religion.'

Noble causes no doubt, but who is this hypocrite clown who professes to represent Americans? Furthermore on a day that was meant to commerate the civil rights movement?

Many americans are not happy with the way the financial crisis had been handled and that was the purpose of their march to get the morons on Washington to hear their voices, a total opposite of the stated aims of the Glenn march.

Glenn is a snake oil saleman opportunists and had used that day and the masses to push his agenda, instead of speaking up on civil rights issues as well as to help americans pragmatically by offering solutions to the morons in Washington to tackle the debts, unemployment and a host of other social issues.

What was his solution? Restore the Constitution? It had already been LEGALLY twisted to serve dictator masters. On what part did he aim to restore? No word on that. Honour the soldiers who had courageously fought 10 years over a lie? Why had he not march on Washington earlier, when the lie was found out and yet chose the civil rights date?

Is he part of TPTB that is preventing the true voice of suffering americans to be heard, by obfuscating the civil rights agenda to seek better accountability, opportunities and responsibility from corporations, and blaming the masses for not turning to religion for answers, which HAD NOT been an issue at all the time of the rally?

The only home and church reforms you heard was by me here on ATS, nothing except generalizations from Glenn at the rally and offered nothing substantial in terms of improvement.

I had mentioned before that TPTB may be inept, but they are not without animal cunning, will learn, adapt and improve. Today, we had seen that improvement at how mass marches will be appropriated for their own purpose instead.

Kudos to Glenn and Paulin. And the masses whom had been fooled and dont even realize it.

Why would Beck and Palin need the money poor people need to scrap together? To support them in what? They are rich, are they not? What are they using this money for?

The event was free. It was requested that people make donations to the 'Special Operations Warrior Foundation'. info here It is a charitable group that provides college money and financial aid to the children of those who died serving our country in the military. 5 million dollars were raised this weekend because of the event. All of it went to the charity. But again - the event itself was FREE.

I already did. See my previous post about 'honor' and what they asked people to do.

When did he do that? He does indeed represent the voice of some Americans, but when did he claim that he 'represents Americans'?? I know that 'hypocrite clown' Obama has claimed it. Are you saying Beck is like Obama? Interesting .... care to provide some info to back it up?

Furthermore on a day that was meant to commerate the civil rights movement?

Did ya' miss, during the 3 hour event, all the references to civil rights; the the MLK dream; and how people should live it in order to bring HONOR to this country?

Did you even watch? It doesn't sound like it. He, and the speakers, continually said to restore honor you first must start in the home and in the churches.

It was only a 3 hour rally. He only had time for just so much, and he gave more suggestions in that 3 hours then Obama did during his entire campaign. Geeeeze ... Obama had 2 years to campaign for office and offered nothing substantial except the tired rhetoric 'change, hope, unity' - Elect me and at the same time you have to go out and do it all yourself .. with me sitting here in the Oval office sucking off the taxpayer. So you are saying Beck is just like Obama? Perhaps ... let the comparisons begin.l

Yup. Glenn does NOT represent Americans. Yet many are buying his BS and HIS ORDERS on HOW PEOPLE SHOULD LIVE IN ORDER TO BRING HONOUR TO THIS COUNTRY?

In otherwords, hey, its the masses fault for not living right and had brought dishonour to the country and to what it is today. Not Bush's fault, Not the Republican party's fault.

Everything smoothed over. On the commemoration day of the Civil Rights Movement too, a day of protests and pickets against the puppets and masters ruling this country, the running of the economy and the unending wars.

Seems you bought it lock stock and barrel. Cheers to continued slavery.

It seems that the money was first taken by Beck and used to cover the expenses of the rally and what he had left over actually went to the troops. Can you offer up a link to some real numbers of what came in and what went to charity?

Will this be the beginning of the Fascist/Socialist civil war? I wonder if they'll split the country width wise or length wise...

America needs its honor restored, we also need more morals in society. This all stems from a family of overworked parents who have no time for their children. We don't need to regulate morality we need to help it.

We should require businesses that hire someone to give them an extra 25% if they are a one working household, or the government could cut their taxes back 25%. This would allow one of the spouses to stay home with the kids and stop them from raising themselves or being raised in a gang.

We should also teach morals in school, not religion though. Teach children respect, honor, integrity, manners, self respect, dignity, self reliance and personal hygiene. We need to stop pretending like morality is inseparable from religion hence shouldn't be in the public sphere.

But back to the point, America needs a 'Restore Honor Tour' but is Beck and Palin really the ones who are restoring honor? Aren't they just members of the elite like the Conservative Republicans and Liberal Democrats? It's worthless listening to anyone with a 7 figure income.

OF COURSE. That's how it works everywhere. All charities do that. No charity has 100% of the money going to what the money is being raised for. There ARE expenses. They have to be paid. That's kind of a 'duh' .. ya' know??

Actually, you are confused. That would be those who worship at the Obama altar ... his marxist spread-the-wealth mantra that he and his congress minions are forcing everyone to abide by.

He has a right to express how he feels and how he thinks people could bring honor to this country. He has a right to tell people what he thinks. That's very different than Obama and his ilk FORCING people, through legislation, to live as they decide.

Seems you bought it lock stock and barrel. Cheers to continued slavery.

Obviously you don't know me at all. I suggest you check out the BTS spirituality forum and check out my thread there. Enjoy eating crow.

I do not know you nor wish to do so. I only respond accordingly to what was written, as it is, as the expression you presented.

But are you Glenn fanboys all the same, flipping floppers and word twisters? What's President Obama got to do with what Glenn said and accused all americans of at the rally?

I dont know what poison or technique Glenn uses, but you sure do strikes my mind of some brainwashed 'zombie'.

Take care buds, Its your life. When SHTF and you finally wakes up to what that hypocrite truly is, just don't ever make that leap off a building for defending and having hopes on him.

I am actually surprised that it took this long for someone to come back with that. Yeah, I get that but that is not really the point here, is it? How much did Palin charge as a speaking fee? How much did Beck claim was for expenses relating to hospitality? See, when you have people who charge such large personal speaking fees involved, it is about what expenses exactly are we talking about here. I would like to see some numbers. Then again, that is kind of a "duh," you know?

why don't we wait till the numbers are in on who made what.

ok?

i would say sarah and glenn made nothing as with probably most speakers.

gee, i wonder how much revenue they brought to washington?

you know, creating temp jobs for vendors, drivers, parking places, you get the idea.

I am not allowed to ask a question? Considering most charities that I have been involved with tell you upfront what percentage of your dollar actually makes it to the end goal, I wondered. I can do that.

Well, if we were talking about good, honest, charitable people I might be inclined to assume the best as you did but since we are talking about two people with a history of screwing people over, I can ask. I can ask, can't I?

posted on Aug, 30 2010 @ 07:35 AM

yes but we can not assume anything yet.

i want to know also.

but to bring several 100k people to anywhere, has to make the locals happy, even for a couple days!

add rev al's rally and the people of washington, made out on this deal.
