Donation Madness. The Crime of it all

The issue of Charities and how much of the money and help goes to the people they say to be helping should be looked at, but I would also add something else to the issue of donation, and that is when various countries pledge money to give in aid to countries struck by disasters.

For example, if you look at Haiti, compare the amount of money pledged by countries in aid, then look at the amount of money received by Haiti.

The conclusion? That for various countries and their governments, to pledge money is easier to do than give, because to pledge money will win favourable headlines for a few days.

It's not just charities we should look at, but governments too who tend not to be that charitable after all.
