Whales? Have they cast a vote on this? IF you mean Wales, that is part of Britain. Sorry, if you did lose your cousin then that is a tragedy and I mean no disrespect other than to point out the geographical slip there.

lol, I just read the study (what do you know, British and I can read?). So the upshot is that the cognitive power of an American 75 year old is allegedly equivalent to a British 65 year old....... maybe the Brit brain was more worn out through actual use.

Thanks for linking the article, after reading it, it seems the study was on cognitive brain power of over 65 senior citizens and not an intelligence test.
I guess that is why the word smarter is in inverted commas in the article title.

I know this is in Hoax bin and old as dirt. But, just wanted to say that a Marine friend just posted this on facebook as a must read in all caps. Almost depresses me to know how many more people actually feel the same way as the letter.
