The New York "mosque" issue has been a major political flashpoint this summer, with both sides entrenched in their beliefs and the media hounds milking it for all it's worth. The major culprit, as is usual, is Fox News, Rupert Murdoch of News Corps conservative oriented news station.

FOX, in order to turn people against the mosque, has been playing a dangerous game of guilt by association. This may have blown up in their faces.

According to FOX, the mosque being near Ground Zero is an atrocity, not just due to its proximity but because if you "follow the money" you will link it to radical islam and thus terrorists.

FOX conjectures that Imam Rauf, the creator of the mosque, is being funded by the Kingdom Foundation, a Saudi political force that funds radical Madrasah's around the world.

The owner of The Kingdom Foundation is Al-Waleed bin Talal, a Saudi Prince.

Prince bin Talal also is the largest shareholder of News Corp besides the Murdoch family. That means Talal owns part of Fox News.

So according to FOXes own logic of "following the money trail:"

If the mosque supports terror because of it's link to The Kingdom Foundation, then FOX's income is directly supporting terrorism, due to it's profit go's in part to The Kingdom Foundation, which FOX alleges supports radical islam/terrorism.
