Hello Everyone, My friend told me about this and this is the first place I thought of for answers. My friend Amanda told me that she feels there is a ghost in her house when I ask why she said that at night while she is laying in bed sometimes she feels the bed go down as if someone is laying down next to her then she said she feels an arm or something drape around her as if they were spooning. She also said that she has turned around before and sees a face of a man with shaggy style hair laying next to her cuddling and all he said when she turned around was "hi" . To add a kick to this story she told her cousin about this and her cousin claims to have the same visitor.

Can anyone shed any light on this Ghost,Demon,Entity? Do you need more info? I told her that she shouldn't worry as whatever this thing is it seems to just like to cuddle. But shes freaking out. I appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thank you.

The next time this happens, I suggest she speak back without any fear (as this can affect how she percieves & remembers the discussion).

"Hi. Who are you? (pause) What is your name? (pause) Why are you here?" (pause)

If the spirit states he is there to protect her (or some other benevolent reason) this should calm her down. And she CAN ask: "Are you here for the good of all intended?". If she doesn't like the anwer she is given, she can tell the spirit that his presence makes her uncomfortable and disturbs her sleep, so he should leave her alone when she is in bed. If he needs to speak to her about things, then she should tell him an appropriate time of night and location in the house to approach her. Then SHE needs to follow through with that plan and listen. But spirits usually manifest like that once we are in bed because it is easier for them to appear in that form when not competing with light AND our minds are quieter.

Once she has some of these answers, she may be more comforted. Since it's happening to a cousin as well, it COULD be a relative who has crossed over. Does this cousin live in the same house or a different house? If it's a different house, then I'd say it's most likely a relative they have forgotten or never knew in this lifetime.

I would be interested to know how that works out for her! Good luck!

What is your friend's religious affiliations?
If the answer is a christian,I would have
your friend read from the Bible and pray
for God's help.

Thanks for the quick replies

Nivcharah- The cousin lives in a completely other city about 40 minutes away.

mamabeth- She is a confused christian. She was all hardcore christian then watch Zeitgeist and now says she isnt sure.

I would think there is no harm intended as it only just lays there and says "Hi' thats sooo creepy.

So there are ghosts that just like to spoon? What do you think it wants? She doesn't want to talk to it because shes freaking out. I dont really believe in this stuff too much but I do believe my friend so I am trying to help her out.

Any way to possible get this entity to leave without speaking to it she thinks that if she talks to it that opens up the comminication as then she will be willing talking to it.

Could it be some sort of demon just waiting for her to open up?

As of not all that happens is it gets into bed with her and spoons her and says "Hi" which might be the freaky part of the whole ordeal.

But the same thing is happening with a relative in a completely different home, which leads me to believe this is a relative or close family friend who has crossed over.

To be honest, I do not subsribe to the Christian satan/demon/devil information because my research indicates they are an illusion created by TPTB to control us with fear-mongering. That being said, we create what we think and believe.

She could always contact her local paranormal society and have them check it out for her using cameras and EVP recorders. I'm confident they will find this is a relative or family friend who is watching over them for protection or to help them get a restful slumber.

After my husband was killed, I felt him do the same thing for many years. Then when I had sufficiently healed emotionally, I had a dream in which we said our good-byes and I no longer felt his presence after that. I still have not felt him to this day . . . nearly 20 years later.

A friend of mine had been working long hours on weird shifts, therefore, her sleep patter had been disrupted and she was having difficulty getting to sleep. At 6am one morning she was so distraught and tired from lack of sleep that she began to cry and said out loud, "Oh God! I just need one day of solid sleep!" She immediately felt the presence of something by her head as if it was right next to her face, but could see nothing. She became paralyzed with fear. The next thing she knew, she was waking up at 8pm feeling completely relaxed and well-rested. It seems as a guardian or Arch Angel had popped in to help her get to sleep.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. She just needs to walk through it. Personally, I think she should speak to him herself OR get her cousin to talk to him with the dialogue I suggested. Or maybe they could have a sleepover where they are both in the same house and talk to him together.

edit for typos . . . SHEESH!

In my experience, most of what we perceive during a "visit" from an entity isn't actually a physical manifestation but a mental construct that our mind creates in order to interpret the information that it is receiving. This entity may be trying to send a feeling of comfort and protection and it is being interpreted by the friend as the "spooning".

The best way for her to tell this thing to leave her alone is to do just that. When she feels that this being is showing up she needs to tell it, in a firm voice, that it needs to leave. She must define her personal space and tell this thing that it is not allowed to violate that.

If it makes her feel better then she can use religious trappings to do this. She can pray for protection or even sprinkle holy water on her bed, etc. This is usually just a focus for people to claim the space anyway.

I think that's a bit dramatic, but my opinion.

I find it much easier to call upon Archangel Michael for protection and to remove the spirit as well as Archangel Raphael to send healing to the spirit so it does not feel the need to return. That's what they exist for, afterall, and they are limitless (which means they can be everywhere at once assisting as needed).

More info would be good - face of man with shaggy hair does not necessarily indicate an entity. Who lives in the house (where does the cousin live that says she has the same thing happen)? How old are the girls? Does he look like a person or what they think a ghost would look like?

Tell her I'm sorry, but she seemed cool with the spooning and all, so I didn't think anything of it. As far as that other kid, that wasn't me. I think people need to be more upfront about things when they happen. She could've just said something at the time instead of turning it into this big deal on the board.
