Since we have two weeks prior to the opening of the contest, I will once again, post up the last two weeks of preseason in this thread so the members who want to participate can get some practice in and any issues can be hashed out prior.

I have received several hundred U2Us from members and moderators asking me if I am participating this year, saying that there's no point in them taking part should that be the case as Jack might as well hand me the trophy now. Oz was especially pushy and vociferous about me not playing and giving 'you lot' a chance to win.

I am flattered.

Perhaps that would be the right thing to do.

If I recall, Ozweatherman came very very close to beating you at your own game last year.

I think this is the year that Australia will beat you and the Leafs will win the Stanley cup....

By the way, considering I only saw 5 games last year, including the superbowl, and considering I am in another continent...and hemisphere for that matter, I think I did pretty well. Finished 3rd overall

After careful analysis by mah NSA buddies it turns out that the U2U messages were not from Oz but from teh staff camouflaged as Oz ... it seems the prospect of another drubbing at the paws of the dog has them spooked and desperate to keep me out of the competition.

It makes me sad.

I guess I'm in.
