OK, you are right about that. I guess it just annoyed me to see someone disrespecting the dead like that. I should have added that the Colonel's posts in that thread was just a bunch of name calling and personal attacks on some of the members.

I'll come out right now and say that it was I who created that thread about someone who we will not discuss. The reason Im coming out is to agree with NC. Banned memebers have the same sort of attraction that prison inmates have for impressionable young girls, you can get sucked in and start siding with them. Its not healthy. If you sometimes step away from the situation and see the conduct of the banned you reallize how wrong they are.

Its better to just trust Admin to keep the boat steady and know that sometimes life is unfair but even so you arent banned without due warning.

The Mods here do an excellant job. It's a credit to them that they remain so professional, given the nature of having to deal with people who's opinions are sometimes contrary to theirs. With that said, I think there is an irony with a conspiracy site and the way it's banning's seem to be so obfuscated.

I think a public listing of reasons for bannings as a sticky would be a deterent!People would know what they couldn't get away with, like a super hero beside a bank.

I have a question about a user. But instead of asking why.. I'll just ask this. Will Dragonrider ever return?

I'm not saying I want to QUESTION the bans, I just would like to know why people get banned! Even if it's for the most pathetic reason, the admins have THEIR reasons and whatever I'm just glad to be a member here.

They break the rules.

The Mods do a good job here , It must be a tough job to have to respond to insults and slander that people post .

I assume they are not here to babysit , but that seems to be the case sometimes . The rules are quite clear , and a certain decorum should followed for intelligent debate regardless of anyones emotional dishevelment (isn't that a great word , disheveled) .

Also , I think people think of ATS as a democracy sometimes when it is not . We are welcome to exchange views in a certain manner , and are allowed much freedoms here , but when you get righd down to it , this is Simons creation and he has the final say . Period. He doesn't even need to explain his reasoning , he is open minded enough to adress our questions on this subject just the same .

I still think it'd be a good idea to have a 'banned' forum, where we can see who has been banned and why!

I love the way some almost seem to demand tha tan explanation be given for the banning of the undesirables. What, are some of you sleep-reading? Stay with the tour!

What is it about people? They seem to take the same approach to this place as they do with jobs. Ever notice how some people can't just quit a job, they feel they must make management fire them? Same way with leaving ATS. Some people want to leave, but ehy aren't happy unless they get banned.

I like it here. I don't plan to be banned ... anyway, too many people would miss the pixy baby ...



I can't see why people are banned unless they are trollers though. Those types deserve to be sent to the outer darkness.

I think, for some ppl ATS is a way of life untill they get tierd of it. Then they want to riot and "go out" with a bang and maybe a smile on thier face (not meant to sound dirty).
