A bit unfair to Obama don't you think?

I think thinking like that is a bit unfair to both hemispheres don't you think?

Bush was handed a country that had a balanced budget with a surpluss.
Then he just ran everything into the ground with the war.

Yes and Obama is not only continuing it he's EXPANDING it!

Let's face it Obama was handed Lemons and he's desperately trying to make Lemonade.

Umm no, he was handed a brick and he's keeping that brick and making a few other ones too.

You are confusing this thread to be partisan bickering
I'm not saying Bush is better, i'm saying Obama is no better.

The two party system is a one party system, you have been fooled and conditioned to think this way

History has been kind to the bush.

You can hide a lot of things in the bush.

That's not bush-it.

Um...it's not just PMCs remaining in Iraq. Some 50K regular troops are remaining in Iraq through the end of 2011, at least.

Interesting...this just goes right over the heads without seeming to register or make any bit of difference. It is as if the whole country is drugged, dumb, numb... or all of the above.

www.guardian.co.uk...

George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany. The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism. His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy. The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

....and they made a big deal out of Obama being at a fund raiser where Bill Ayers also was. Such a convoluted and double standard.

I just love it now that Limbaugh has so little to say he has resorted to re-hashing old gripes.
Now he is trying to re-establish some sort of conspiratorial link between President Obama and his undoubtedly outspoken, vocal and flamboyant pastor of some years, Jeremiah Wright.

Why didn't we hear Limbaugh once mention the strong and well researched connection Prescott Bush had and his dealings with Hitler and the Nazi's?

Where was the investigative Limbaugh during the reign of Bush 1 and Bush 2? Was he drugged up on painkillers during these years, or did he deliberately conceal from the public, damaging information on the Bush's family tree?

Why would he do that? Is Limbaugh a Nazi too? I am beginning to think he and Beck actually are card carrying member's of the Aryan Brotherhood.

I wonder what crimes we could find if we looked up your family history? What a silly argument.

Limbaugh, Fox News, and Savage, etc, are all cynics. I can't tell you what they really believe, but I think it's quite clear they are aware of the truth, but chose to report lies instead. That makes them cynics.

Maybe they're just doing it for money. Maybe they believe the masses should be controlled. Maybe they think the ends justify the means. Who knows what they "really" think. But they're not as ignorant and clueless as they keep their audience.

Also keep in mind that news is a business, and as such, the point is to make the maximum amount of profits possible; if that means skimping on the guts of a story, spending cuts on actual investigation or journalism, taking kickbacks from the sponsors to give them favorable coverage, etc, then that's not "irresponsible behavior," it's good business.

It amazes me how we just cant seem to get rid of some of these families in politics. GWB is a scum bag, and threw this country down the crapper while in office. Obama isn't any different. Knowing our luck, Hillary Clinton will be the next president. WTF!!! We need to clean out these corp puppets, and put in people who wont be bought out.

Good heavens people have really short memories around here. The agreement that put a time frame in when our troops would be withdrawn was signed while bush was in office. Absolutely nothing to do with obama. Sorry to burst your bubble, but obama gets no credit for following an agreement signed by a previous president.

There's no way that Glen Beck is an Aryan brotherhood member. he even loves America soooooo much that he cried in front of millions on television! He loves Amercia more than anybody ever has!

Oh and Limbaugh was too busy snorting OC and drinking gravy to bother reporting about Prescott's association with NSDAP. That gravy was mmmmmm yummy! A man who cannot even take care of himself is supposed to have proper views on this country? Give me a break. Stop eating pie and do a sit up.

And Sarah Palin too.

She's defending Dr. Laura's right to use the N word.
"don't retreat, reload" she told her in a twitter.

Curious. Because about Obama and an Islamic Community Center 2 blocks from the old WTC...*

“He just doesn’t get it, that this is an insensitive move by those Muslims that want to build a mosque in this location,” Palin said of Obama in an appearance on Fox’s “On the Record.” “That feels like a stab in the heart collectively of Americans who still have that lingering pain from 9/11.”

Does she get why the N word is an insult?
Let's start with the folks who died in transport.
Where is the sensitivity?

Thinking about her as a white supremacist, at least now I understand where her double standard is coming from and I imagine there are a few more races on her hate list...
...digressing...

Anyway.. chiming in since I just saw on Rachael Maddow, (cue disparaging remarks, libs, gays, women...
) George W Bush is afraid of horses.

They just tried to get a photo shoot of him in a John Wayne theme...you know like Reagan could swagger and stare, a horse adds that extra machismo
but the photographers were reminded GW Bush will not be in a photo with horses.
What if the horses are afraid of him? Maybe they rear and buck, whinny and cannot be controlled when he walks into a stable. Maybe this is why he doesn't work with them?

I don't think Bush is part of the White Patriot Party, (Hannity, Beck, Coulter) Aryan Brotherhood or any other supremacist group. He loved latinos.
I think he is a leader, likable and indiscriminate by nature.

*9/11 was committed by Saudi's. We have pictures of George Bush canoodling with the Saudi's. Islam is not al -Qaida. al-Qaida is not Islam.

I almost wish that Dick "I have no pulse" Chenney was voted in. Then maybe all these lame right wing lunatics would be out of office.

Obama wasn't handed a damn thing (other than the presidency), he INTERVIEWED, begged, borrowed and everything else...to get the job.

Our economy was not secret. Whomever took that seat knew EXACTLY what he was getting into and what would be expected.

Bush is blamed because 'someone' interviewed and actually got the job that he's not qualified for. He'll milk it as long as he can.

Please, on top of a financial crisis the man has had to deal with everything from Swine Flu to Pirates. When his term is over I'm sure we'll look back and laugh at how preposterous those 8 years actually were.

I'm all for a Bush resurgence in the media. So long as it comes in the form of a war crimes trial.

"The man" is not "dealing" with anything. He too busy golfing, taking vacations, giving teleprompter speeches filled with bold face lies, and of course constant stumping for money.

For a man who excoriated the war, to take credit for "ending" it, is the height of classless hypocrisy.

We talking about the same guy? He has barely caught a breath and deserves what ever time he takes off. I don't think he has lived up to all our expectations but we were on the brink of disaster and now we are tettering a little farther from the edge.
If it were John and Sarah we would already be in a nuclear war with someone, probably Russia over Georgia, remember "We are all Georgians now" Give me a friggin break.
Count your blessings. It could have been a whole lot worse.

If you blew your entire life savings at the track, would you tell your wife "it could be worse", give me a break.

If this man is exhausted, it is because managing and directing his cadre of Marxist, Socialist "Czars" to dismantle this great country and doing it by systematically ignoring and breaching the constitution, has just drained all the energy from him.

And apparently it gave him gray hair.

Don't remind me that George Bush blew all our money at the track.
Don't blame Obama for trying to make something out of nothing.
Aryan Brotherhood working out for ya?
