Egyptian security forces seized a ship loaded with explosives coming from Israel and arrested its owner in Port Said, Egypt's independent Al-Shorouk daily reported on Monday.

The explosives were loaded inside containers on board of the ship, the newspaper reported without providing further details about the ship and explosives.

The police arrested Joseph Botryose El-Gabalwi, the owner of the ship, but the court ordered releasing him temporarily, while the Egyptian Public Prosecutor Abdel Meguid Mahmoud prevented him from traveling abroad.

After all the media hype about the flotilla activists being terrorists who were secretly smuggling in weapons and explosives, even though their "contraband" was nothing more than cement and crayons, now Israel has been caught shipping explosives of their own.

And how do you know that?
"Ship coming from Israel" does not equal Israeli ship. I am not sure that owner is Israeli. Are you?

Sure, they have been caught many time blowing things up and blaming someone else...

The Lavon Affair refers to a failed Israeli covert operation, code named Operation Susannah, which took place in Egypt in the summer of 1954. During this operation, a group of Egyptian Jews, working for Israeli military intelligence, planted bombs inside Egyptian

how do they know ... yada yada yada

Of that i am aware. You both do not know. Apply the "same rules" as you want, this is the fact.
Lavon affair is proven fact. All the rest is challenged imagination.
Simple question - is owner Israeli?

Wow, the annoying and disturbing part if that if you put the man's name into google, you get nothing but hits for the news story.. THE SAME NEWS STORY on multiple outlets. Word for word.

ok, so long as you admit that "activist" does not equal terrorist, or that "palestinian" does not equal suicide bomber.

The dancing Israelis is fact too just read the police reports and the investigations into the company they worked for.
The flotilla was fact as well...with the exception of the israeli version which was not, as was proven here on ATS on about a hundred threads..
It doesn't matter who owned the Ship,
but who commisioned the cargo, and the trip, and it's intent matters.

Egypt Stops Arab-Israeli Ship Full of Explosives
www.israelnationalnews.com...

Egyptian authorities stopped a ship from Israel, owned by an Arab and loaded with explosives, according to an Egyptian newspaper reports quoted by Chinese news agency Xinhua.

The owner of the ship, 'Joseph' [Yousef] Botryose El-Gabalwi, was arrested in Port Said and later released under court order. It is not yet known what citizenship he holds. He was prevented from leaving the country.

The explosives were inside containers on the ship, but no other details were released, and it is not known if the material was destined for terrorists."

now if anyone thinks the israelis would allow a ship to leave port with explosives in the posession of a hostile arab who migh have hostile intent to israel, see the Isaeli slaughter of peace activists delivering cookis to gaza, and give your head a shake please.

I think that there is certain lack of understanding here. "5 dancing Israelis" were arrested in New York when 3 of them were spotted filmin 9/11 tragedy and dancing. This is a fact. They (and other arrested Israelis who worked in same firm) were released after few months of investigation and no charges were presented against them. This is a fact. All the rest is not.
And facts are very important because without facts there can only be assumptions.
Since you do not care who owns the ship, who worked on the ship, if the ship docked in Israel at all or simply came from "direction of Israel" or for the simple fact that Egypt that has a deep mistrust of Israel released the owner
- you do not care for facts at all. All you care for are your own assumptions based only on your certain view of Israel.
Since

israelis would allow a ship to leave port with explosives in the posession of a hostile arab who migh have hostile intent to israel, see the Isaeli slaughter of peace activists delivering cookis to gaza, and give your head a shake please.

is a pile of raw steamy assumptions. Hostile Arab......

There are more then 1.5 million Arab Israeli citizens. "might have hostile intent" , right - you do not even know the ship docked at Israel at all.
And as for Foltillia fiasco - out of all the ships sailing then to Gaza the only one without any "cookies" aboard , only hundreds of people, was Marmarra. "Cookies" from other ships got to Gaza.
