This is nothing other than.....another.....diversion from the real issues in the world. Another divide and conquer scheme.
I hope the public is aware of this by now.
MSM is not your friend. It is disinformation; nothing less.
ATS folk should know this by now.

All this nonsense over GZM, it's just the establishment trying to drum up some jingoism for it's push for WAR with Iran. 911 was an inside job. What we really need instead of a mosque is a 911-was-an-inside-job memorial or information center somewhere near Ground Zero. There must already be one or more.
I'll bet people would contribute to such a monument. I sure would. (I'm poor, I would contribute but not great sums) (But a great number of people would contribute just from the frustration of all this denial.) But with something on the order of a Memorial or Monument, the govt would go ballistic trying to shut it down. A hands-on style museum where you could see samples of nano-thermite and with video-booths showing the dust cloud pouring down the street would be awesome not to mention scale models of the WTC under construction and shortly after 911. We have only the internet as a 911 museum. Of course property in that area would probably be awfully expensive. CAIR has all that CIA money, your tax dollars at work.
There was a mosque in India, set up by Babar, over a Hindu temple. They tore it down to rebuild the temple just to encourage communal warfare. A lot of people died. Communal warfare always involves paid thugs. But people contributed from all over the nation. It was a rallying point even though used for devious purpose by a devious regime. We could use a rallying point. 911 was an inside job.We need something concrete to point to. I don't think we are in danger of triggering communal warfare, not like these GZM pushers are trying at.
After this mess is over, if sanity rules, there will probably be a 911-was-inside-job-and-how-they-did-it display in every kids museum and omniplex.
What we really need is a memorial to the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to show the devastation there so that people could really see it and the suffering it caused and not let it be dismissed by manipulative news media.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the building they are tearing down hit by plane fuselage on 9/11.
So many people say it isn't part of ground zero or that it is so far away, but that sure hits home to me.

I thought people on this website knew better.
A Mosque built on ground zero?

It is obvious that 9-11 was an inside job. It was so inside it was planned for over 50 years. Who really knows the age of the plan except for those few at the top of the pyramid.

Where is the truth, know one talks about the black pope and the saturnalian brotherhood? No one talks and examine the languages that we speak? Who designed our languages, is this all really the plan net. This is the matrix, controlled since our first breaths as newborns. Every creation planned from sports, movies, tv shows, blasting us with radiowaves constantly creating confusion through lies. Repeating the same over and over and over again. The same system. A ritual. controlling the people from rise and sleep.

We must see passed the illusions and fal liea cys confronting our thoughts every nano second. From religion, money, race, using every method to divide the people. Creating their UNIVERSE CITIES and influencing our every thoughts, molding us like sheep. TPTW has blinded and confused our souls with lies, creating confusion, division

Humans, it is time to WAKE UP and ASCEND SION.

Does this make sense, sence, since, SINS.

Using the most powerful gift we have, language and the word. THe word has been taken away from us. WE have been fooled. WAKE UP.

The battle is ON every day, And its for your soul. Becuase THEY know the true powers of it. It is the gold of this plan net.

THis mosque is just another attempt to create division.

They have planned it.

Wake Up

BEWISE

And yet we allow groups like the KKK and the neo-nazis who believe in all sorts of horrible things to continue on their beliefs and set up their headquarters.

There is a big difference between respecting the right of belief and in no condoning those actions. There are plenty of biblical laws that are in opposition to the constitution, but that does not mean we do not allow for chrisitianity to exist and establish freedom.

Big difference between allowing belief/speech and actions.

How about respecting the secular rights of the ordinary non Muslim who doesn't want to see a religious movement grow

Oh I see, you support mob rule right? This is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy.

good for the workers, it shows human beings do still understand ethics,

placing that building in that location is just designed to be a flag planted in the ground for victory by the muslim agenda essentially saying "we've got your country & society on its knees"

and while on about islam, if practitioners of the faith dislike "western civilization" why do they wish to be featured so heavily & prominently within it??

I don't believe you truly understand how the labor market works in NYC. If the unions say it will not be built It AIN"T gonna be built..period!!

I read nothing from that link which suggested the " Unions " Said no dice.
Some mixed feeling and a few grunts who state they would refuse to work on that job. If the Unions say Okay, then the guys that have crap for brains can sit home and watch cartoons.

Why Thank you. I also applaud your oh so concise sarcasm.

I'm sure Al-Qaeda are the one's responsible for the funding/development of this mosque.

Actually, last I heard, no one knows who is funding it. But you could be right. You never know.

However usually funds go from the west to the middle east to support their wars. So I'm quite unsure about your attack on al qaeda there.

Who knows, they could use this structure as their headquarters to plan their next attack! Gee, I sure hope the American secret intelligence is aware of this! Stay afraid and keep a close eye on those pesky, evil Muslims, they wear funny clothes and want you dead because of your freedom.

Oh gee, I thought *I* had the scathing wit. Hats off to you, sir.

By the way, do you really think fear and funny clothes are why people are wary of islam?

Not the fact that there are more muslims in the world who would willingly cut you into pieces for not being muslim, than there are people who wear scary funny outfits? And there is a lot of the latter, I will add.

Now let's address those fools who'll argue that these vile Muslims have the right to build their mosque because of a little something called "constitutional freedoms".

Ahh those people... I hear they are inconstitutinant. Have to wear personal items to stop them from appearing foolish in public.

By the way, why are you bringing up the 'right to build mosque' argument?

It is a community center. And either way, a mosque a few blocks away is already there. Strange logic going on here. Entrapment?

Well I say to hell with them, I like to stand up for the constitution and all, but I like to cherry pick which details suit me.

Sorry, there are no cherry trees around that I can see. Best you be picking something else.

Now, whatever that was about is over - I do hope sanity returns one day. Or a global catastrophe hits. Because either way, something has to give.

I sure hope so, because if not then this sort of disregard for logic has them at the end of a long road looking back saying "Oh crap! You were right.."

Greasing their palms with silver may ease that thought of tomorrow...

I said it in the other thread last week, New York labor unions will not touch this project - ever. You can't build in New York without union labor.

I also said, if it ever does get built it will be knocked down ASAP.

Mark my words.

I do not approve of this religious site at the proposed location. It would been seen as a victory by extremists.

At this point, it's timely to remind folk that the Saudis -- by their own admission --- have spent 87 BILLIONS dollars promoting teh spread of Wahhabism/Islam in the West

that does not include the Billions they are not admitting to

and a LARGE proportion of that money is being spent paying people to POST IN FORUMS just like THIS ONE

to 'form and shape' public opinion

Those who take money to post are TRAITORS

Wow...it takes a really weak mind to just cry "paid blogger" to everyone that has a differnt view than yours.

So tell me...are you directly accusing me of being a paid blogger?

still laughing, you who devotes SO much time here (and in which other forums) promoting the spread of islam ?

still laughing ?

I devote time to spreading Islam???

Funny thing for a Christian to do...wouldn't you think?

Your posts are filled with some of the most illogical comments I have seen on ATS. You would do yourself some good to not be so influenced by the media.

Your post is just flowing with disinformation. I'm honestly not sure who is feeding you this drivel, but with each post you're starting to sound more-and-more like a bad parody of an uneducated hick.

It's quite shocking that you're literally clueless about the modern world we live in. Let me chime in a little bit, I have a lot of friends that've been to unstable countries like Saudi Arabia and Lebannon, and guess what? They're still alive and weren't even threatened to convert to Islam! You know what else is shocking? One of them stayed in the middle east for atleast two years. I'm so sorry to put your "raging muslim lunatic" belief to rest, because the fact is, the majority of Muslims aren't who you make them out to be.

Haha. Your Islamic conversion tactics are getting outta hand, buddy! I would've never guessed that being levelheaded and logical were steps in spreading Islam, but I can see you're being very subtle with your endeavors.

Not sure that some muslims who are supporting this even realize the symbolic nature of this proposal. I'm sure they believe it to be quite benign, so I therefore have no quarrel with them. However, I do believe that there are portions of the leadership within the muslim faith who are looking to send a message. The modern day Dome of the Rock, only this time in the middle of the what they considered to be the mecca of western civilization. But your right, I'm probably just creating a conspiracy, because different religions haven't been one upping each for the last two millenia... wink wink

After we took the land from the Lakota that contained the mountain they called "Six Grandfathers," we then carved the faces of four white men onto it, called it Mt. Rushmore, and deemed it a national park. Our ancestors did this. They took the land with force and they defiled the land in the eyes of those who previous lived on it. If you can't stomach a community center at the site of an old Burlington Coat Factory building that may have sustained damage from a plane that attacked Manhattan, I don't understand why you aren't out protesting to get the faces removed from Rushmore. Is it because you were on the winning side? Is it because you don't care about the suffering and emotional state of Native Americans? Is it because you feel our ancestors did no wrong in this instance? Is it because it doesn't affect you in the least?

How do you think the Lakota felt about seeing a mountain they revered carved into the shape of their oppressors? Probably much the same as you feel about this.

So, put differently, if past evils influence future building projects, why do we tolerate things like Mt. Rushmore? Either the past matters or it doesn't. And if it matters here, then it matters insofar as the things our country has previous done to wrong other people is concerned.
