A pupil who gained three A* and three A grades at A-level has been left without an offer from a single UK university.

How can three seperate universaties refuse a top college sudent?
He says they're full and thats why he didn't get in them, i say there's something else going on here.
The BBC says universities let in more foreign students everyear, could this be true? (probably is)

Perhaps he didn't apply in right time and the colleges are really full.

my guess is there is more to the story. Sometimes its based on the prerequisites for the program. If you are a top student in Englishes and Arts, and never taken a science course of course your not going to get accepted by any university for that program...


From the article it appears as thought the requisites changed and they would accept him if room opened up. Maybe there is an international test one must take. where I live there is an American based university program and all applicants must take an American standardized test.
