June 25th Spanish Ufo Alert Skywatch

Don't know if this will interest you.

On the night of June 25th, there's a ufo skywatch, from 21:00GMT to 06:00GMT in Spain.

There will be groups in most of the big spanish cities watching the skies for UFOs.

It will be covered in a special radio program on the " Cadena SER" radio station, it will be streamed on their site

Is there a particular reason for this event? Are they expecting something to happen?

Not as far as I know, but it's the summer solstice, so it's kind of a magical night.

I think theres a risk of the 'self fulfilling prophecy' effect when this happens. People will be looking for UFOs, and wanting to see UFOs, so will perceive things which are not UFOs as UFOS.

Yes, that's a risk, but there will be some astronomers attending the concentration who hopefully will explain natural phenomena.

This sounds like a very bizarre event that has closer ties to the occult than to any objective quest for UFOs.
