Always love time-lapse space videos, this one is of the Perseid Meter shower that occurred recently.

These were taken between August 12 and August 15, 2010

**Watch it in HD.

Gear: 5D Mk II, EF 16-35mm L. Settings: f/2.8, 6400 ISO, 20 second exposures.

Pretty amazing stuff, here's a link with more photos.

This definitely deserves a reply at least. Nice find, I enjoyed watching that. I was so bummed it was to cloudy where I live to have even a glimpse.

Yea... I didn't get to catch it either. These guys got more than a glimpse though, images are from the same people who made the video.

Yes, I saw that one change directions (curve) right at 30 sec. Never thought a meteor could curve like that. was it a plane??
Indeed a beautiful video! Thanks.

Indeed a beautiful video! Thanks.

I think a few of those were planes -- especially the ones that went across the whole frame, and several that took almost identical paths (such as the portion of the video with the Joshua tree in the foreground).

But beautiful, still.

EDIT TO ADD:
I've seen that Joshua Tree video before, and it was filmed in June of 2009 -- not during the Perseids meteor shower.

But still beautiful!!
