Iran Urges IAEA to Counter Sanctions

Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency has urged the organization to come to its defense against sanctions from the United Nations Security Council.

Iranian news agency ISNA quotes Ali Asghar Soltanieh as saying Wednesday that the U.N. agency should know that Iran has been cooperating to show its goodwill and transparency.

Based on everything we've seen, Iran has shown good faith.

The IAEA has a site dedicated solely to Iran here. It lists all the safeguards and agreements and is in the process of setting a date for the Vienna Group (United States, Russia, France and the IAEA) talks already.
