Anger over Israel soldier's prisoner Facebook images

A former Israeli soldier has been sharply criticised for posting images of herself on Facebook posing next to Palestinian prisoners.

Eden Aberjil had put the images in an album on the site entitled "The army: the best days of my life".

Army officials have condemned her behaviour as "shameful" and said they would investigate the matter further.

First, I am surprised that this got out into the media. It lends creedence to what SO is saying about the media as of late: attempting to anger the populace.
Nevermind if this is good or bad morally, think of the consequences this could have. I believe its there to provoke people into anger against Isreal. Perhaps Isreal is attempting to fullfill its own prophecies by provoking their enemies by allowing this news to be released?

Secondly, it's obvious to me there is hatred in the hearts of Jews as much as any man out there and its showing in their people. Both sides harboring such hatred will only lead to more violence.

News items like this will only inflame things more.
