Further, a majority of the world's Muslims live in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, with the next-most populous area being Africa's Sahel states. Ever been to any of these countries? If not, I assure you, the people living there simply have way more pressing matters than assuaging your paranoia.

Rule of thumb for forums like ATS; when someone presses their argument with "Don't be sheep" or "wake up, people!" or "Open your eyes" then odds are their argument is totally invalid. Because it seems a memorial to Timothy McVeigh is a memorial to a specific individual, an individual who took direct part in a heinous act. On the other hand, a mosque is the worship place of about 1.5 billion human beings.

Actually it would be more like there being a chapel at the site.

Point of fact, there is a chapel at the OKC bombing memorial, which is built where the Murrah building used to stand.

There's also a Shinto temple within walking distance of Pearl Harbor.

Also there's a Muslim prayer room in the pentagon.

And of course, Mexico City - formerly Tenochtitlan - is absolutely replete with Catholic churches, despite the fact that it was in the name of Jesus Christ that the Mexica suffered Genocide.

What is the basic tenant of Islam? I answer that for you! To convert all of the Earths population to the Muslim faith! Those who continue to defy this order by Allah will be put to the sword! If your trying to say that Muslims aren't trying to convert the world to their way of life your pissing in the wind and denying the one truth of Islam. Remember..lieing, cheating, stealing from or to the infidel is no sin under Islam!

What's the basic tenant of most religions? To convert all of the earths population.

To them it's usually called saving souls.
You can read alot of horrible things in the christian bible aswell, telling others to stone homosexuals, kill people who cheat on their marriage, etc.

It doesn't mean all christians follow it directly and literally.
