Thanks, that made it much clearer.

I think all of this talk about a reflection had me & others confused. Its not a reflection, its just the fact the camera has panned up & we can see the cover/hood.

It is the cover/hood -- BUT it is also reflective.

See this "gif" I put together of about 15 images (I made this for another similar thread). You can see how the hood can reflect the surface:
