After the last couple of weeks of reading endless hate rants I thought it would be a good change to rant about what I don't hate!

So as a partial list:

I don't hate.

puppies
snowflakes
music
Skittles
boating
chess
addictively popping bubble wrap whenever I find it
and toothpaste that foams.

There I feel so much better now!

What don't you currently hate?

Nuance
The smell of pinesap
Bowhunting
Early color photographs
When kids ask honest questions
Wheat futures
Reducing waste, on any level
Pondering and entertaining contrary views, just because it feels good
The last note lingering in the air after a piano piece stops
The way lucky pennies seesaw into the gloom when they disappear down in murky water.

Realizing that a great book kept me wrapped up for hours longer than I thought
Driving at night in the early fall
A well cooked, medium rare, ribeye steak
Great conversation with a friend
An honestly original and thought provoking movie twist
Swimming in the ocean
The point when you realize an acquaintance becomes a true friend
That new car smell

I kind of thought that being addicted to popping bubble wrap was a universal thing! Hand some to anyone and they WILL pop it!

Well, an exhaustive list would take quite a while to type out, so I'll keep it simple:

*Hot chicks.

*Music.

*Good movies.

*Hanging out with my hoodlum friends.

*(Most of) my family.

*A well made firearm.

*Computers.

*A few, select TV shows.

*My dog and dogs in general.

*Mama's banana pudding.

*Did I mention hot chicks?

*Also, decent looking chicks.

*And not-so-hot chicks provided a sufficient supply of alcohol.

*Books of all sorts, but particularly technical/scientific books dealing with audio.

*Most musical instruments.

*Video games, RPG's in particular.

*Learning.

*Afternoon naps.

*Fireworks.

That's enough for the time being. Cool thread.

Thanks for the replies folks! Some good stuff! It's all highly appreciated!

The Associate - I second the RPG thing! I'm a huge fan of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fable II. Hundreds and hundreds of hours lost to those things!

Oh and to add to my list:

Anything that can be described as "chocolate inside of chocolate, then covered in chocolate" - truffles are a good example.

The sound of a child laughing.

Date night with my spouse.

Driving around in my car with the radio blasting.

Finding just the right outfit when shopping.

Getting an 8 ball break.

Baking something new and it actually turns out right.
