I agree about evolution, but the ignorant hate-rants here on ATS are pathetic, and have no place in the 21st century.

Alot of the problems in the Arab world stem back to poverty caused by Western Imperialism - and now trying to bark down a whole society from the top down into submission and cultural assimilation is pointless and arrogant.

The West has just as much to learn from the East as we have to Teach.

Hate breeds hate.

Why don't you move to Afghanistan and work as a social-worker or something.

I don't go around thinking whether or not what I say gives ATS a bad name, if it does then so be it. All this is really about is the unparalleled ignorance when it comes to the 9/11 issue, to make it a divisive racist/religious issue which will then keep people away from the simple truth: that the terrorists were either hyper-geniuses or that insiders (Bush and Cheney) forced a stand down of the military. The entire mosque issue is so pathetic that I almost am in favor of it just to make the neoconservatives angry. I could care less if a strip club or a casino is built on ground zero, anything is better than a hole in the ground. P.S. how is that freedom tower going?

Theres now 3 muslim stories on the front page of ATS including this one lol.

When i logged on earlier i thought maybe i had signed into some other site :S Muslim this...muslim that.

I think muslims are a side issue. The real threat is from our own governments

Ive never met a extremist muslim...but then again ive never met an extremist christian either o.0

Abolish religion in its entirerity and we will see a more peaceful world. Theres no need for it in the 21st century, we can understand that the moon is held in place by gravity and other forces...not angels
I cant understand how religion has managed the continued brainwashing of the population???

Sorry if you dont agree with me....i have a right to my thoughts as do you. I dont expect any rude replies that being said

I have noticed, everyone who makes those kind of threads write page long articles all full of BS, its all taken fro other sources....why the hell do they act like they are some Islamic scholars or got a PHD in islamic studies when they just quote some stuff taken out of context.

I thought in a place like ATS people would know how government propaganda and the policy of "divide and conquer " has been used for SOOOOOOO long ...its getting boring and stupid that people are as dumb as their ancestors not to have realized that even though its been well documented...somtimes its a good thing the elite call us "useless eaters"...bloooodyyy hell....age of stupid

You have me pegged, I wanted to do that when I was younger, but fate didn't allow.

Now I am to old, ghost,

But I do have women friends that are Islamic and we pray together,

Also if a debate on Islam degenerates into a hate fest, that is not appropriate, but if it brings understanding and insights, I think it should be discussed.

Then what hope is there?

I think any post that promotes hatred towards a religion, belief or way of life should be deleted. It does no good.
People mostly post stuff like that and are uneducated and its obvious when reading it, why a mod doesn't delete it is beyond me. Its distasteful.

I don't think it is promoting being educated on the subject if we sweep it under the carpet.

Why can't we just have an intelligent conversation on this forum without vilifying one another, and everyone pointing the finger at everyone else,

Why is this subject taboo?

I feel like I am in third grade.

OK let me see if I have this right.....
If I do not agree with Obama I'm a racist
If I do not agree with amnesty I.m a xenophobe
If I have a Ron Paul bumper sticker or am a returning vet I may be a potential home grown terroist.
And now that I am firmly against letting a murderous group build a trophy land mark I am anti ATS

Huh...who knew?

Are you serious? Can you see no other alternative modes of education?

Maybe there is no hope.

I am asking you what I should do, how do you educate, when I cannot even bring up the subject on this forum.

You are very welcome Stormdancer.

That is why I thought a woman who has lived under Sharia law
can speak with more authority than the sycophants fawning
over Islam on this thread.

Wafa Sultan is incredibly brave to me.

Do not let the words of the ignorant diminish your belief
in doing and saying what you believe is right.

There are agents for Islam as much as there agents for
our government spreading disinfo.

But as I have said elsewhere, all religion has horrendous blood
on its hands and none of it gets a pass from me.

Even in modern day the pedophile priests should receive a
worse fate than the common citizen because they are suppose
to be an example not a subversive parasite.

I don't know much, but I do know that Sharia Law is different to Spiritual Islam - and any threads or comments who don't make the effort to differentiate the two in an intelligent way - doesn't deserve praise for your feminism.

Spousal abuse is a big problem for Caucasians aswell you know.

Western Cultural Imperialism is just as much of a threat to Muslim women as misguided traditions that have nothing to do with contemporary secularist Islam.

How about switching off Fox - and going and working in a womens shelter for a while.

Of course there are those who follow Islam who do not follow
Sharia Law, but there are MILLIONS who do follow Sharia Law

You try to use spousal abuse as an equivalent to STATE SPONSORED
ABUSE BY LAW.

You are holding an apple in one hand and orange in the other
and failing to make the distinction.

i've been giving it some thought, and i wondered what titles for threads would invoke the most response from an anti-islam point of view....

bad islamic thread title:

Mohammad, True Prophet of Allah, or just Gabriel's beotch?

There are a few subjects that often head off into a foaming,
unthinking, knee jerk state of mind.

Politics, Religion, Abortion, and a few others.

At some point a voice of reason may whisper we will just have to
agree to disagree.

Again as I have stated I trust none of the religions as most of them
have been caught in major lies.

That may be just the issue of man being in charge of it, but then
it just makes the whole thing suspect by association.

I think there are good ppl of all religions, Islam included.

Gandhi mentioned that at his place of worship while growing up
they read from the Hindu writings and the Quran.

He could never make both sides happy so radical Hindu's killed him.

Some on here will not even admit Dhimmitude and Sharia exist.

They are that hopeless.

Even when a woman from the part of the world goes on Al jazzera
and argues with Islamic clerics over it risking her life they still
say she is a paid actor or some other tripe.

Stormdancer I must suggest keep in mind that some of the ppl are
likely Islamic and will not change their beliefs.

Some could be disinfo agents pushing their agenda just like
we have seen the government disinfo trolls on ATS.

Do not take it personal, when it gets you down listen to Wafa
and talk to those who are positive in spirit and not insulting you.

These petty insults on here are totally childish.

Don't expect them to change.

Real change sadly often only comes at the end of a gun.
