Once again- i tire of being told i must fear something or someone.
my rod and my staff comfort me, and i will fear no evil.
granted nowdays the rod and staff
are a shotgun and high cap auto pistol.
there's alot of america and the world that
i cant understand nor change- so be it, but-
it's like when i got in a fight with a drunk indian-
he kept poking me in the chest saying-you aint no chief-
but i put him at arms length and told him -
from here on in i'm the chief- poke me again and see.
so he did, and i knocked him on down.
and thats the deal- in the wide world no-i'm not a chief-
but for say about 100 yards out i sure am the top dog of squat.

Again,

why do you still generalise 1.54 billion people (population of Muslims in the world) into one category?

I apologise for this if it offends but this is pure ignorance.

We hear this alot....about the Quran being a book of peace and yet we are constanly confronted with thier insane intoleration and bloody ways.

"will come saying peace peace but there is no peace"

I've not read the Qur'an in it's entirety... but I can tell you about the Bible... it's full of murdering, and war, and incest, and almost all of it is rationalized by saying God wanted it so. BS.... I do believe in God, but I cannot for one second believe in a God that is described to have such human emotions... impossible, he's better than us remember?

Sorry Poet, I can't say anything to change your mind.

If I have a wife, I won't treat her like garbage, unlike my neighbor (I won't beat her up), treat her with at most respect, and allow her to work if she wishes to.

Yes Poet I'm a Muslim.

You are no different than those who want stoning, those who want freedom of speech banned, those who want freedom of expression banned, those who want unjust laws created due to hate (Nazi'ism).

You might not see what you are, but there is a saying, "hate makes you blind".

Once again, I can't say anything to change your mind, you made your mind up before any discussion began. Talk about being back ward.

As I said, you are no different than those backward people you tend to hate.

Let's think about the other side poet, shall we? Iran produces more women scientists than men, huge number of Iranian women are stacking up to study Engineering and Sciences, and they are great inventors. Why don't you think about Indonesia and Malaysia?

My sister is top in her school, she's 16 and already has 3 scholarships. New Zealand Muslim Women are much more independent, and qualified than Muslim Men.

Here is a deal, why don't you come and see for yourself?

I have four sisters, my oldest sister has her qualifications in pharmaceutics, my two younger sisters are studying in University of Otago right now, one wants to become a Doctor, the other hasn't decided yet. My youngest sister is still at school and she has already got 3 scholarships to study in Auckland University for free, and that is the TOP, Internationally recognized University in NZ.

Your life must be hell miserable to direct all your hate in a massive crowd and paint everyone in that crowd as backward, control freaks and evil. You must be damn lonely to not understand anything beyond your own culture, you must be darn ignorant to not see what instability can do to people, you must be damn stupid to claim I treat my women like dirt because I'm a Muslim.

This is my last post in response to you, and to shutter your miserable fantasies about Muslims, here is my sister in NZ Newspaper (no one forced her to cover her head):
www.nzherald.co.nz...

You insult me, my sister and my whole family, I could do the same, but it is best to avoid each other, because haters belong with haters, I don't want to be categorized as such.

Edit to highlight..

If Muslims have low IQs then so do Christians. The race for a stupid majority appears to be a two horse affair. And it's neck and neck.

Umm, well okay,
you can call yourself that.

You're highly westernized,
and so don't have Islamic Suicide Paradise meme-virus installed.
That's fine,
you're safe.

Let's think about the other side poet, shall we? Iran produces more women scientists than men, huge number of Iranian women are stacking up to study Engineering and Sciences, and they are great inventors. Why don't you think about Indonesia and Malaysia?

Really? wow I'm surprised.
Do they get jobs?

Please cite your sources,
provide links.

Most of my Iranian friends are really rich,
at least by Iranian standards,
and went to school here,
in Canada.

Fortified mansion,
be the Iranian residence,
of one Iranian friend I have.

My sister is top in her school, she's 16 and already has 3 scholarships.

Oh yeah?
Does she stay home all the time?
er, when she's not in school.

New Zealand Muslim Women are much more independent, and qualified than Muslim Men.

studies suggest,
women value education more than men.

So you're inviting us to your base?
I see your infiltration is doing quite nicely.

because I'm a Muslim.

please, don't take it personally.
it's not you, it's a belief system.
That's something outside yourself.
It's just a program in your mind.

A label is merely a name.
muslim milsum.

You be free,
to identify yourself,
in any way you like.

Careful what you wish for.
Realize that words have meaning,
and people can infer that meaning.

here is my sister in NZ Newspaper (no one forced her to cover her head):
www.nzherald.co.nz...

That's nice.
Seems like it's such an exceptional case,
that there is a news story about it.

Though my Irani friends be quite smart,
many got honour rolls and awards for academic achievements.
So you'd think it would be more common.

Wow! Truly a can of worms.

I don't like Islam. I'm not gonna be all PC and say that it's a religion of peace, or that you can't generalize it. I do think most Muslim people are decent and probably overlook the more hostile parts of their religion, I'm sure many individual Muslims are very charitable and peaceful, but the religion is not.

On the other hand, Islam is not as bad as the New World Order which wants you to fear it so much. The reason why we are encouraged to hate Muslims is because the Muslim countries are the last civilization in the way of world domination by the bankers, at least that's my theory.

millions dead,
you're a bit late,
that's socialism (AKA communism).

for a body to integrate with soul,
by translating soul to sense,
a belief system is required.

Atheism is also a belief system,
in the west it's typically based,
on Descartes, Newton and Darwin.

Even if you have the Islam operating system properly installed,
either the Islamic Suicide Paradise virus is disabled,
or you're not showing any symptoms of it.

Many westernized people are charitable and peaceful I'd say.

Islam mentions giving 10% charity to the religion,
any initial peace is overshadowed by Muhammad's violent actions.

On the other hand, Islam is not as bad as the New World Order which wants you to fear it so much.

It's true that 9/11 was staged.
Fear and torture is commonly used by Illuminati,
at least based on the Svali material.

Strangely enough,
the goals of Illuminati training,
is to maintain group cohesion and utter secrecy.

Happily and safely,
by sharing and co-habitating,
perhaps those goals could be achieved.

The reason why we are encouraged to hate Muslims is because the Muslim countries are the last civilization in the way of world domination by the bankers,

Addicted to wealth,
by having so much of it,
Remember that 10% charity to the religion?
Well various Islamic governments are showering themselves with it.
Also Oil money from the west, is making many muslims rich.
So they've been infiltrated by banks quite thoroughly.

Dangerous,
by tricking self-preservation,
any memetic suicide virus be.

An undercurrent,
of western society already be,
such as the Punk vandals,
and Emo slashers and chokers.
We've got our own to heal with pleasant memes.
Such as product creation, self-empowerment, and safe fun activities.

Predominant,
by having created Islams empire,
the Islamic Suicide Paradise virus be dangerous.
Especially since infected people are physical destroying many places.

The problem is oozy, you are quite a regular, easy going, respectful and intelligent sort of guy.
Unfortunately a hell of a lot, if not most, people who regard themselves as Muslim aren't like you and interpret Islam quite differently my friend.

Sorry, oozyism, but I am not the hating kind, more the laugh about it kind. I don't hate anyone. I just see some people as problems, and I don't see all Muslims as problems, but when I see a woman in a burqa, I see a problem.

Will you let your wife dress the way she wants as well, even if she wants to wear pumps in public and dress up in style now and then, wear a skirt that shows some leg? I hope you do.

Glad to hear your sisters are doing so well. So they don't wear burqas, smart girls.

How would you feel if they marry non-Muslims?

I'm more in your ballpark.

I am not against religion, only organized religion.

Organized religion is where the control freaks come into play and screw everything up.

My question was simple, are you suggesting I'm not a Muslim?

"Read the Qur'an maybe you'll learn something... It's not a book advocating violence, it's actually a peaceful book"

I wanted to see for myself so a few years ago I went out and bought an English translation of the koran.

It took me about 2 minutes to find places where it said things like, "Search out the Christians and the Jews and kill them under the rocks they hide under".

It also said that non-believers have three choices .......

1. To convert to islam.
2. To be enslaved.
3. To be killed.

Some peaceful book.

The problem with The Koran is that it contradicts itself throughout and on nearly every single issue.

As a result people can cherry pick quotes to support their arguement whilst ignoring contradictory quotes.

As such The Koran, and in turn Islam itself, can be portrayed as a peaceful religion or as a barbaric, hate filled and all controlling belief system.

In my humble opinion The Koran, as with most religious tomes, should be viewed as hypocritical and self-serving nonsense and another example of why all organised religions should be avoided at all costs.

I agree with the original poster! These muslims are getting out of hand and they should be rounded up and kicked out of the land of the free! They spew hate and even want to poision New York with the idea of building a mosque a few blocks away from ground zero! Disgusting. I agree with Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin and all the other great Americans, we need to deny these hate mongers their request to build a structure of hate.

You have to look at the historical setting of what is being stated. Was Islam under other rule and put down at the time of certain texts? That would explain the context of what is written. Cherry picking doesn't help because it's taking the context out of what is written.

I had to stop reading at the 3rd verse. First of all you don't mention the context of the verses where people are told to slay others. Secondly, from the little context that is included it would appear the context is self defense.

"Fight if they fight you." And in all your superior reasoning skills do you believe it should say "Expose your jugular in defeat if they wish to fight you."

Then you should read more to educate yourself for your own sake. The list is long for a reason, also see what others have posted in the thread or google History of Jihad and other related articles.

Also, quotes like that are interpreted by muslim religious leaders to suit their need, one day the quote means self-defence, the other day it means Jihad and war.

None of the verses have any context or explanation. The only thing I could accomplish by reading the rest of them is becoming simple-minded and misinformed. I can't take this seriously when someone advocating apparent self-defense is spun to be something where a Muslim is advocating violence.

And whether they can be s "interpreted by mulsim religious leaders to suit their need" is irrelevant. I could selectively quote you to suit my needs. Does that mean you should stop talking? No.

The Koran is allegedly the word of God, or Allah, as related to Mohammed via Gabriel in dreams over a period of 22years.
At times Mohammed himself thought that he maybe mad.

As Mohammed was illiterate he commanded The Companions to each memorise a portion of what was to become The Koran.

As such The Koran is considered the literal words of Allah and any inconsistencies and contradictions must come from him or Mohammeds interpretations.

The area where Mohammed lived was tribal and under no occupation as we would know it.

Every schism or denomination of Islam cherry picks The Koran to suit and believe their's the one, true and literal interpretation.
