All the while the liberal left tries to automatically discredit and shut down ANY discussion by calling you RACIST or a BIGOT!

Well geezus man...when you see endless bigoted and racist comments all over's quite easy to come to that conclusion with some people.

If you don't like it...why don't you start going after the blatant bigots and racists on this website...or are you willing to admit there are none?

Maybe you should start criticizing those who are tainting your honest message.

It's clear that the sole purpose of this thread is not to debate the NY mosque issue but rather to bash christains. You wishing to justify the building of the mosque by saying christains are evil doesn't mount to anything. The real reson why people don't want that mosque built is because it's a slap in the face of the victims family.

This appears to be the only defense from the people opposing this mosque. Its perfectly fine to call an entire religion offensive based on the attacks of afew on 9/11, but when highlighting the equal comparison to christians, all of a sudden I am bashing Chrsitians. But obviously you could not have guessed I myself am a Christian and I attend church every week I can. I am not afraid at pointing out the equally horrid acts that has been committed and called out in the name of christianity as those of Islam. Why don't you get off it and wake up.

Because racism doesnt exist in your world right? Everything is merely a race card correct? And since when should I care about your race card?? I call it like I see it so why should I care? This has almost become some official card on this forum by conservatives and for some reason they think the rest of us shoud care?

if we oppose you, we are either bigots or racists

Ok lets expand on this further. Can you be more specific?

And whats the problem? You have a right to act as whatever you want. There was a thread just on that. You have a right to be a bigot and racist. Whats the problem? Why so defensive?

This thread is not about your rights to act and say anything.

....WERE the ones that are intolerant, and WERE the ones who wont have a debate about issues.........

What debate? You think we can debate on whether the entire muslim religion and muslims themselves are offensive to 9/11? Should we debate how muslim americans should be treated like secondary citizens due to the actons of afew?

You want to debate??

All the while the liberal left

Ouch! That hit me right in the heart. I mean ouch!

Again, you want to debate with me over how we should treat muslim americans as secondary citizens over the actions of afew?

A debate? How about we debate that the world is actually flat huh? That should be a great debate. Lets debate then!

Ill start.

The actions of those 19 hijackers were not representitive of all muslims.

The actions of certain christians over the years are not representitive of all Christians.

There, your shot.

"Ah yes, because white american christians are pleasant to eye for the rest of the nation."

Interesting that you felt it necessary to insert "white" in there. So black American Christians are all totally okay with this mosque? Asians too? I believe your true agenda has just been exposed.

Blacks can't be prejudice or bigots? Thats unexpected coming from you, it really is. I'd bet though alot of people on here would disagree with your claim.

Asians too?

Really? Are they an exception? And really, out of this crowd outside the mosque how many can you account for being non-white? Really? You think non-whites can't sympathize with bigotry or racism? To the contrary.

I believe your true agenda

I made an example out of Christianity in the exact same manner you go on about islam, and yet I have an agenda? Really now?

I know alot of muslim americans who do not and never will sympathize with those 19 hijackers. They are as american as anybody else, they work, they pay their taxes, they mind their business. People like you work to make their lives a living hell because you are so filled with hate and confusion. Its a damn shame.

Found an interesting article that talks about the Cordoba Project and it's imam.. I just started reading it in detail but it possibly links the Cordoba Project with the NWO.. Lot's of other eye opening information that definitely makes me believe that countries need to be very vigilant with the intention of certain groups like the Cordoba Project.

Even though our laws give a church the right to worship I think that if a religions intention is to take over a government then we need to be vigilante and smack them down.

We run into danger when religion, government, commerce and science become one. This is the NWO's tactic.

The name Cordoba Project alludes to the intention of this organization. All you have to do is research Cordoba Spain and then you will realize that the intention seems to be to make a Cordoba Spain out of other countries.

Here is the article: Cordoba Project exposed

Edit: Also if someone wants to create a separate thread with this article be my guest. I am a noob here and can't create threads.

The Muslims and other people who would frequent this Mosque are just regular people like you and I.

Not every Muslim is a terrorist, just like not every Christian or Catholic is a religious extremist.

I think no one has a problem with muslims but I believe almost everyone has a problem with Radical muslims and groups of any sort that have bad alterior motives. It is good if we differentiate.

I agree... the problem is that alot of people aren't willing to differentiate... they all just get branded the same

Everything in this article from this "covert investigation" is pretty much covered, addressed, or attempting to be addressed in this existing thread: The War for Your Mind: "Ground Zero Mosque" . and also in numerous other threads on this subject here at ATS. I did a quick read, and I don't think there's anything new here, other than perhaps the Bergen, NJ, item, which I will look into for my thread. Overall, it appears to be a summary of a lot of the issues about this center from one side of the argument. Thanks for pointing this article out.

Hey Southern, I LOVE how you went back and took that RACIST comment out of your post to edit your response and make you seem more credible...

Just so you know, from NOW on im watching you like a hawk on EVERY thread you make, YOU keep pulling that race card and im gonna keep calling you out....

that is nothing but BAITING and one of the reasons ATS has come a long with its new posts for decorum.....

The Mosque is NOT a race issue, it might be a civil issue, it might be a moral issue, it might be a religious issue, but it is NOT a RACE issue, so leave that crap at the door........

America missed a golden opportunity to showcase its Constitutional freedoms. The instinctive response of Americans should have been the same as President Obama's: Muslims have every right to build there. Where one religion can build a church, so can all religions. - R Ebert

It absolutely blows my mind that there are actually people out there to deny this religious group their American freedom. Rush Limbaugh, Shaun Hannity, Mark Levin, they're all showing their true colors right now and appearing very unamerican.

a. Because Obama the Muslim wasn't in office
b. Because Bush the Bad would have kicked their asses
c. Because no one told them to freak out
d. None of the above
e. Make up your own answer

Don't you all think someone should really call the fright wing and let them know they need to stop the Islamification of the Pentagon?

There is NO mosque in the Pentagon.

There's not a mosque here at the Pentagon," says Pentagon spokesperson George Wright.

Prior to Sept. 11, 2001, there was no chapel in the Pentagon. The Pentagon Memorial Chapel was dedicated on Sept. 11, 2002 and is home to daily prayer services of all faiths, including Islam.

"We have a wide variety of services," says Wright. "Protestant, Catholic Jewish, Hindu, Mormon, Episcopalian and Muslim. It is not unlike any other military chapel in any other military instillation around the world."

That is why no one is "freaking out"! Personally I'm happy ALL have a special place to go to if they need to.
