Infantry Weapon Opinions

What is the 'current' best infantry weapon?
I have never used a weapon before so i can only go by what i have read, i i think the HK G36 is a good robust weapon that achieves overall good results, accuracy, weight, rate of fire, easy to maintain (web opinions)

Hmm I would agree with you on this. The G36 does not jam often if ever which the M16 does. The G36 has fewer parts then the M16. Also it looks cooler then the M16.

i like its different versions as well:
Standard
Carbine
Commando
Support (Tripod and 100 drum mag)

i'm either not popular or nobodies on the forums

It's probably the G36, lightweight, accurate, and easy to maintain. Either that or the Steyr AUG.
